I served 2 years aboard USS Yorktown (CG-48). We changed home ports from Norfolk to Pascagula, MI. Of all the ships I served on, she was the best - BY FAR! To ships company, she was the Battlecruiser. However, some made fun of an early incident in a foreign port and referred to her as the Cattlebruiser. May she rest in peace.
