I started at Palisades (South of Charlotte) and finished at Dilworth.

For further reference, the Palisades is in southwest Charlotte near the S. Carolina border. It is an upper middle class to wealthy neighborhood. The drive continues down. S. Tryon street passing Rivergate mall (on the right with Target etc.). This is a solidly middle class area with direct access to uptown via S. Tryon. The driver then proceeds to cross Westinghouse which leads to the industrial area of Charlotte (trains) and continues past Ayrsley (solid middle class with restaurants, hotels and a movie theatre). When you see the airport sign, the driver is crossing over Woodlawn which turns into Billy Graham parkway to the left -- direct route to the airport. If the driver had turned right on Woodlawn, they would have driven down to Montford (multiple restaurants and apartment complexes). Charlotte is considering turning Montford into an open carry zone to support entertainment in that area. Finally, the driver turns right to the Dilworth area (middle, upper middle to high upper). If they had instead continued straight, they would have reached uptown.
n.b., when you see Camden road, that is the light rail (blue line) that takes you directly to uptown, and points north e.g., the boardwalk and UNC Charlotte.
