im thinking of doing this with a fiat 500. but i have crap loads of questions 1. what motor/ brand do you use. 2 how many batteries do you use and if that what type. 3 would a deep cycle boat battery change performance. 4 i know im asking alot of questions but im like stoaked to get this mini beast going

Perhaps Croatian government could buy few cars to give you a head start? If they were smart, they would throw tons of money at you to help you make a car factory of it, I am sure it would bring lot of profit back to the country :)

@hempev I know... We're racing against gas powered cars. Where's the point in racing against other electric cars? Besides that, there are no such fast EVs in Europe so we don't have anyone to race with.

I'll take nothing away from the electric powered racers. Break all the records you want, but people think there are going to be practical electric everyday cars and I don't see that coming. From what I can find the best batteries have 3% of the energy density of gasoline, they cost a fortune, then they wear out. Apparently there's some basic physics standing in the way of world changing advances in batteries.
Amazing! Well it is evident that all the motor corporations are holding back technology as this guy has shown what is possible by doing it himself without the million $ facility and huge R&D team. This car makes all the offerings currently available look over priced and terrible. I wish this got more publicity so people could see what is possible,This guy should sell conversion kits, though he'd probably be visited by some unhappy corporate representatives
