BW, Can't thank you and CoCo enough for the shoutout. This is Brad! Amazed that my dear friends Marty and Sharon got through to you guys. I can't begin to tell you how much joy you have brought me with your amazing musicianship and humanity for nearly 50 years! Starting wit D&B, D&D, George etc I could listen to these interviews for days. CoCo , you are such a good interviewer it's amazing! I sit here enthralled! Please keep em coming. I've had a great run in this life but listening to you share the stories of your wonderful, rich life has enriched me immensely! I now know why everyone loved and respected you so much and wanted to hang and work with you because your sweetness comes thru in spades in these interviews! You have made me a very happy man indeed! Thanks so much! Brad

Great stories as always. Love them all. I did meet and be around Bobby Keys back in 1983-85. He used to know some other people from Lubbock, Texas who were part of a band named "The Planets" and played with them here and there. Got to hang around him due to being around the band helping out and he was very good to me. He learned I did not smoke or drink or do any drugs and after everybody left and it was just he and I in a room said to me you got a good head on you to stick away from all of the junk. Had I had someone like you around I would have saved me lots of lost money. Probably true. He had a great laugh and basically was a fun man to be around. Good times.

I met Bobby Keys once at Keith’s house in Sussex, UK. Me and my buddy were Keith’s gardener at the time and was invited to his daughter, Angie’s wedding reception. Everyone was there as you would expect. In the mingling crowd I saw BK standing by himself and I had to go over and say hello. We talked about the mad dogs tour and you and Hurtwood Edge. He was humbled that I knew so much and was a super mellow guy. Later that night was a jam in a tent with Ronnie, Keith, Bobby and other folks. Me and my mate was just sat cross legged on the grass in front of that foot hight stage.. will never forget it.

I love the way you put it- i was a late-comer to this channel. I immediately became addicted! Started watching, then would say "just one more" til it was past 4am. Got up the next day+had to tune in with my morning coffee. Even the comments are so interesting that I began wondering if I'll ever get through it all. It's like sitting with old friends, reminiscing about the good ol' days. Even tho I wasn't there, the MUSIC WAS part of MY life. RELATABLE! It's all intertwined. Haven't found much that interests me these days, BUT THIS IS TOP NOTCH!! Can't stop watching, laughing, learning...feel like a fly on the wall--a wall of HISTORY!!. So thankful Bobby+Coco decided to share with us. Gives me LOTS to look forward to, along with a LOT of other people👍🏼Great stories!! HELLUVA GOOD ATTITUDE!

Best rock n roll sax player for my money that there ever was. When I watched the movie about him I noticed something - hs comic delivery reminded me uncannily of that of the comedian Ron White. And i looked it up and there from pretty close to the same part of Texas - Lubbock area - so I reckon that might explain it.

Bobby: I've watched your videos here and there (I suspect a binge watch might be coming soon), but I recently caught the "Life in 12 Bars" EC documentary, and you, sir, have got to be one of the best story tellers I've ever run across. I've always been a fan, but you as person and not just another voice and instument in the mix is pure gold. You have a very genuine quality that comes through and all too rare anymore. With tremendous respect and best wishes, ~bp

Good Bobby Keys' story. This didn't happen on your watch, but he, reportedly, was suspended from the Stones for taking a bath (probably with friends) in expensive Champagne. The two of you inspired me to rent Mad Dogs and Englishmen. What a non-stop party that was. Last note: thanks for doing the vignette on Kay Poorboy. In a world of singers--- an un-sung hero... the Shakespearian version of "Layla." Keep the faith.

When I see a new video is available I'll set aside a special time to watch, assuring I'll not be interrupted, because that's how much I enjoy your reminiscence. As for Bobby Keys, I remember a part of the Mad Dogs film where he's driving around Dallas talking about how he should visit his grandfather, but the conversation would probably just be a scolding about how he should have stayed in college and studied architecture. Ya'll stay safe and keep the vids a coming.

I'm feel fortunate I'm able to say I saw Bobby Keys at the Palomino many years ago when he played with Ronnie Lane. It was a nice show but sad at the same time because Ronnie was in his final days, had to be led on stage with a cane, wasn't able to stand or play, etc. One of the highlights of the show was that they played the solo section of "Can't You Hear Me Knockin", and Bobby just wailed. I'll never forget that memory. I wonder if Bobby W. has any recollections of Ronnie Lane being that Ronnie was friends with Clapton, etc.?

The life version of Why Does Love Got to Be So Sad seems perfect. Can Bobby comment?

I'd like to hear Bobby talk about his solo albums that he made after the Dominoes. I've been listening to the first 2 & Rock Your Sox Off. A lot of great stuff there. "Dearest I Wonder" I think is really special. Just a beautiful, really soulful song.
