Best goal by far was Eddie Gray's then Sniffers header, you should never be able to score a header from there!
Grays goal was pure technical mastery, cannot argue with that. Yeboahs volley is the only goal that rivals it. I cant pick between the 2.
As an Arsenal fan I'll admit that Sniffer Clarke header is my favorite goal anyone ever scored against us. What a cracking instinctive goalscorer he was, absolute poacher and a proper footballing legend!

Totally agree. It's the goal I always look for in top10s and it's always been overlooked for some strange reason.
Alan Clarkes header is the best headed goal I have seen 15 yards out diving header with so much power, but Eddies goal total magic, like they used to say when he played in snow he never left a footprint
Man so many memories and flashback just triggered by watching these video. I remember that goal from Tony Yeboah got me shouting at my tv screen back in the day. Haha. The good old days. Cant wait for us to be back to the top. #MOT

I remember Harry Kewell's goal where he was challenged by 4 defenders running from half way and slipped in a great goal.

Would have liked to have seen Strachan v Leicester spring 1990 esp with the context of the match - John Helm 'have you ever seen a better goal!' Fantastic match and great goal from Gary Mac for Leicester
Pablo away to Swansea, the goal itself was scruffy but the celebration of knowing at that point we were all but promoted back to prem. Still get tears and goosebumps from it

I think Lorimer's volley from 25-30 yards vs Man City could replace 2-3 of these. Mind you, some are clearly picked for their skill and others (Beckford) for what they meant. On the latter criterion, you could add Strachan vs Leicester or Terry Cooper vs Arsenal to help us win our 1st major trophy. Anyway, some great choices there and they're Leeds goals so they're always worth seeing :-)

I know he's not much liked anymore, but Harry Kewell's goal against Arsenal was brilliant.
There were two Kewell goals that should have been in this list. The half volley against Arsenal and another when he was 40 yards out
@@callensoffer7082 definitely. It's a shame how he left, but that doesn't mean we should forget everything he did when he was with us.
Why is Harry not liked at Leeds ? Is it because he was sold to Liverpool ? When he was at Leeds he was a brilliant player, at Liverpool not so much because of injuries he picked up :)
Some of them goals were 40 yrs apart.. Yeboah scored his 2 on the list in a week!

Tony yeboahs my favourite all the time Leeds United player. He did score the best goals.
Some fabulous goals and of course it's all a matter of opinion but for me Sniffer's goal at Wembley has to take top spot for its significance if nothing else. Tony Yeboah's were probably the most stinging and Eddie Gray's maybe the most skillful. All were complete beauties :)

John Sheridan scored a lot of great goals, but particularly remember the one where he chipped a free kick up to himself, before volleying it in. Also Cantona against Chelsea was memorable.

Shame they didn't include Tony Currie's incredible curling goal from near the West Stand goal line into the top right corner in front of the Kop. Think it was vs Southampton (they must f***ing LOVE coming to ER given their record there!)

With so many to choose from over the years Eddie's still stands the test of time cos back in the day Burnley was no mugs a hard team to play against and up there with the best in there day
Eddie coyld have put most of them on there backsides and still have around them again to be honest with u.....BUT EDDIE SCORED A GREAT GOAL FROM THE HALFWAY LINE AGAINST MAN UTD ITS ON U TUBE CHECK THAT GOAL OUT.

@mike beckfords goal meant alot to get us out of the division but it embarrassing even knowing we were in that division
@@andrekilner9962 was an awful time mate. But thenfanbase was as pure blood as it ever will be. Those who followed us during those times were not tourists or glory supporters. A return the the Prem is the best way to repay them.
