Locking diffs would made this truck so much more versatile. You definitely gave it a solid try 😆
Hello from V&b speed a new rc community channel stop in say hi thank u 👍
The Casey Currie Trophy Jeep its modeled after is a true desert racer, so as an Ultra 4 on a rock course I didn't expect much.
Looking for new subscribers thank u 👍👋
I think this truck would be ok just running around the yard but definitely not for rocks. It does look cool though I’ll give it that. 🤷🏻♂️
Hey Joe 🎉 RCF4L It's Finally My Weekend and I Get to Unbox and Play with Our New Casey Curry U4 Dune Racer's... What would be your suggestion on first thing to do straight from the box?
1. Thicker Diff oils
2. Wider Tire's for Stability
3. Shock Set-up
Thanks Again for All Your Great Content and Suggestions on RCing Updates and Upgrades...
I'm Loving the SCX6 Trail Honcho with the Updates Done 🏁💯🏁

For a good U4 setup I would go sensored with a remote drag brake adjustment (Castle Aux wire) and earplug the center and rear diffs. Looks like a solid truck, I def want to get one soon.
Looks cool for sure.
Whole time at the conclusion I was looking at that DBXLE over your head, just waiting, paddles ready, for that backordered MAX4.
Nice rc truck
Lock the center and rear diff atleastband put a semsored system in it, itd be sick to see how that runs... thinking of doing that myself 🤔
Do you have videos of you building the rock crawling areas?
Looks like a locked rear diff will be a must
Hi from V&b Speed a new rc community channel stop in say hi thank u 👍
What motor & esc are you going to fit Joe?
What motor would you say is the best for being quiet and smooth with a 1080
I like how this look could you put some bigger wheels and a sensor System as you said on it and do a serious rock crawling with it
It looks more scaled
Kinda like a long wheelbase Wendigo 🤪 but maybe a little tougher! 👍😁😎
Thicker diffoils and a sensored system and i betcha it’ll do ok on some rocks😃
I think that thing could benefit from a wider stance with hub extenders or something.🍻🇺🇸
Watching this later. I sure hope it’s good.
I am a little puzzled, why this keeps getting referenced to a U4, this is actually modeled after Casie Currie's Trophy Truck nick named Trophy Jeep.
Thank you. This video just saved me $1,000 Canadian lol.
Losi really missed it with this one. The longer wheelbase is the wrong direction for KOH.
Its so hard to watch these beautiful RC trucks getting beaten and launched off ramps. But I am thankful to see it make it through. It is impressive to see how tough it is. Thanks for sharing. Love your videos. Keep em coming.
Hahaha I love it
I would guess axial rift would be more fun in this terrain.
The 'Scale' driver in me says it is a good thing the composites and aluminum chassis can more easily withstand the 5+ pound RC's rock impacts than do the parts on its full-sized, 4000lb counterpart.
I would really love to see if you could make it competitive against a box stock crawler on the rocks and still be fun and fast
It’s too long to be good at that. The belly would hurt it so bad
Ok so maybe an ok bouncer then😂
The GT5 I had was really touchy on the trigger. It wasn’t linear at all. My old 8yr old GT3B was really linear. I have a DumboRC X6 and it’s really linear too. Maybe I just got a bad GT5. I now have a DX5 Rugged as the last coupon made it much more reasonable. It’s really linear but the menu is horrible.
What doors are you talking about dude?
I've never seen you be so tough on a truck
Well I don’t know why but I am a bit rougher on this one.
@@ExocagedRC I think it's just one of those trucks that will get beat on a little bit more than the rest
Long skinny chassis got to be roll over hazard… had a UDR got rid of because spent more time flipping back on wheels than driving 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️. But to each his own… happy RCing ✌️✌️✌️
Hello from V&b speed a new rc community channel stop in say hi thank u 👍
It probably do good on an actual ultra 4 type course. Not a rock pile
Hi from V&b Speed a new rc community channel stop in say hi thank u 👍
where is this place? looks awesome
My back yard. The Exoplex. 32068
Lock it up Joe!
Idk man I need it to handle well at speed
If Vitavon makes a rear sway bar then it will need to incorporate at rear skid plate to protect it otherwise it will get destroyed every time it lands at the rear end.
Okay Vitavon where’s mine?
We will see how it’s set up. I don’t even have one yet. LoL
So what is the nearest competitor to this rig?
I don't think it has one since Losi seems to be the only one building Ultra4 trucks
It's basically a rock rey or a baja rey I have the rock rey and it has a locked diff it's alot of fun and pretty durable but not great at crawling
How you send truck this door lol
A fusion 2800kv would be cool maybe 🤷🏻♂️
I lived in sabastian FLORIDA before
nice im number 1 ! man that sucked on the rocks . koth i think not
I have a feeling I'm going to enjoy watching you build this one up. I like this model but 10th scale parts on a 7th scale size vehicle seems like a recipe for disaster. I've seen the UDR built up as a 4400 U4 truck, might make an interesting comparison.
open diffs are killing it
That’s the thing about Ultra 4 race cars. It’s really hard to make a desert race car that can handle rock trails as well. Losi did not hit the mark with this one.
Kind of seems like the old Axial Yeti good for Hill climbs nothing else
Hey how do I gift you my cen f450?
I'll take it😅

Is it normal to spend this kind of Money just to beat the f&$k out of it?
Something about the shape of the body isn’t rite! Help me what is it. It’s ugly.
I hate it.
Rock racer it’s not lol.
