All shocks in this truck are not able to handle the landing
Im going to try to make a hill killer out of mine I just got it I'm going to lock it up sensored system. I like how tight it turns for a front end like this. Probably cut that back end off maybe make a bed

Are you going to re visit the Hammer Rey? I have one and miss seeing you post videos of modifications to it. Your Lasernut videos and Hammer Rey videos made me want to buy a Lasernut,so my friends could drive a different U4 vehicle when they come over. But your Lasernut videos also made me think "good thing I bought 2 tenacity TT pros ,and not a lasernut" lol
Don't even try and tighten down the servo saver, a buddy just got a raptor Rey and the nut was striped out in the plastic... Grinded down a flat spot to try and grab it with pliers and it snapped right off. Have new hard wear and vitavon servo saver in the post👍

The plastic parts are all very durable, there are many videos on UA-cam proving that this truck doesn't need any aluminium parts
Unless your like me,and over tighten the servo saver nut and break it! I ruined an Exotek Bellcrank in about 5 runs,and have now purchased a Rc4wd one,it seems that it will bend just as easily. Im not sure how to describe it exactly,but the aftermarket bell cranks (not counting vitavon) seem to have too aggressive of an angle to them. 1/8 of a turn loose,it feels too loose. 1/8 a turn tighter,it feels too tight,like it will bend again.
Hi! Just a thought but if there's commonality between the hammer Ray and the baja rey, would the whole front end assembly of the baja rey 1 or even the 2.0 fit the hammer rey, I'm hearing the handling on the baja rey is much more predictable?
Looking into this aswell, looks like br2.0 shock tower will bolt up and then the br2.0 arms, knuckles, diff outdrives, cvd's and possibly steering links would be needed and would bolt on.. BUT, I think it will shorten the wheelbase a bit which might look a bit wierd with the hammer rey body/cage and obviously change geometry in the front quite a bit, could also run the extra damping shock on the front then too. Need to get my hammer and mates br2.0 next to eachother so I can double check things before buying the parts..
The hammer rey and br2.0 have a different front bulkhead to the br1.0 aswell

Sad truth is they use super goey saver to get more life out of the rtr servo.
Not sure about hammer rey servo mount but baja rey one needs immediate swap too.
I have s6290 in mine and it twisted whole assembly 😭

Put some wider offset wheels on
And screw your Ackerman and steering up more than it already is... Sure... It's a scale vehicle and should be driven like such. Think about the real one doing this shit...

They’ll bolt up but I think these may be too tall?
