@@ImKittyCow If engineering were a mandatory premed for medical school, the quality of doctors would have been outstanding. We would have seen more innovation and precision in medicine. Some of the pre med degree of most doctors I know is baffling. I know a few with degrees in history, who took some science classes to get in, SMH.

Having the drive, imagination, being in the right place at the right time and a slice of some real good luck. Unfortunately for every one story of someone meeting all 4 of these, a thousand other people's stories go untold.

Several years ago I used to be a server at a fancy steakhouse in downtown Austin. We did a couple of private parties for Dell. Michael was always a super nice humble guy, and very down to earth. I always enjoyed dealing with him.

I used to live in Austin TX and I work the assembly line, Dell Computers there, Our suoervisors would always tell us no to slack off or be too loud/playful since Michael Dell walks at times around his own assembly line buildings and monitors how workers do their jobs... now that's commitment. Also was said back then: " don't expect to see him in a suit and tie, He is always in jeans an t shirt " Nothing fancy at all "
I own 2 Dell XPS computers for almost 10 years and have experience almost no issues. The desktop has had no issues. The laptop...the fan makes some noise sometimes, but it is almost 10 years old, so I can't really fault it. I will replace the fan at some point and it will be an awesome laptop still. Both still serve my needs almost ten years after purchase.
I lived in Austin, Texas when Michael Dell and Dell Computers started growing. It was an awesome time to live in Austin, Texas and watch the company grow.
All the companies I've worked on have Dell computers, laptops, monitors, keyboards, and mice. It's impressive.

It was also a great company. A net worth of 1.6 billion in 2005 but goair ruined it by selling cheap air tickets but worst coustmer care.

@@vipin8816 Jet Airways lost market share to various Low Cost Airlines like Indigo, SpiceJet, Go Air etc. Jet Airways was a Full Service Airline. The downfall started when it acquired Air Sahara (later rebranded as Jet Lite).
What about Kingfisher Airways, it looked promising. I still don’t know what happened.

Me and my family's computers and laptops are nothing but Dell! We're very proud of having them. We've always owned Dell too and we're never going to by from other manufacturers!

i think you missed a really important part of Dell's History (i know this was about the PC and not everything else about Dell). But they have recently re-branded as Dell Technologies after the Dell EMC merger (biggest tech merger in history at the time). Also great timing as Dell Technologies World conference started this week as well.
