The "Deadliest Journeys" series is positively captivating. I like watching how people overcome problems that seem insurmountable. I can't stop watching and cheering on the indomitable spirit of the people featured in the videos.
Problems often created by the same people. Here it would make sense to have some organisation and create a road. There is money in Haiti, if everyone is corrupt then nothing happens. No point complaining either.

They instead complain that nobody is helping them but when people try to help them they steal and turn insanely corrupt until the helpers simply cannot take it anymore and leave . Westerners come in to plant them crops because they are starving -- the locals salt and destroy the crops once they sprout because they thought the devil was under the earth pushing up the stalks with a long stick . True story . They refuse to plant new trees because effort , or because they are incapable of thinking of the future . Look at a satellite image of Haiti and be amazed that you can see the border so clearly , since they have destroyed the ecology there so entirely and do zero maintenance , zero thinking ahead and have no respect . Before I went through this documentary I thought TANZANIA we have difficult life but we have to thank GOD for the better infrastructure and social amenities ,proud to be a tanzania
There are more affluent parts of Haiti that are amazing to see. They are only showing the poor areas.
That’s the point yes showing us the rough side I been to Haiti and had a beautiful time there I loved it but it was also heart breaking I didn’t get to see how hard it really is I’m having a good time and these people are struggling worst than me I have nothing to cry about god bless Haiti
All of haiti is poor 😐 its just there are less poor areas.
One more fact: Haiti was full of forests five hundred years ago. Slowly, forests were cleared our for the French colonialists' sugar cane and other harvests. Once liberated from slavery, Haiti financed the liberation struggle of Simon Bolivar in South America. It is thus sad to see Haiti so poor now.
The forests are destroyed thanks to the Haitians
We know that they 're the poor people but most of them got so many kids,,, that so difficult to see their growing up in that bad condition,,😢😢
MY FAVORITE DOCUMENTARY TOO IS THE Papua New Guinea ( The worlds dangerous way to school) and I love watching all the documentaries..way better than the fake scripted videos..
At around the 7:30 mark, my uncle and I were traveling om this very route and we hit a rock that caused our pickup truck to stall, on an incline! I thought we were going to slide into the Ocean. Scary stuff!
37:08 Look at those children running down happily 😊
Watching from philippines...😁
@@ungeimpfterrusslandtroll7155 excuse me shithole?
They work to ten o'clock to fill five bags of dirt. And after four days of work she got 3 euros for the gold. How much are the miners making?
but camera man going and filmimg is great in that tough conditions .
Love your channel 👍👍
It's bizarre how so like Africa Haiti is. I should know, coming from sub Saharan Africa
..😮
What similarities do you see?
respect for these people to survive each day..
I respect them. Everyone has to hustle. Such beautiful country. Smh at the miners....😢such tiny holes. I couldn't.
Got to say just one thing ,...... 15 Euros one way only for around 150 miles on a dirt road is actually insult to injury !
This is expensive enough even in the US or Canada !
May God have mercy on the people of Haiti, may he forgive them of all sins , I have a lot of respect for the people of Haiti I am from the islands but live in the U.S.A .it really is heart braking to see how some of the people have to survive, people in the U.S.A. waste so many things and complain don't know how lucky they are in comparison to some of the people of Haiti, Africa, India , and some parts of Asia , Venezuela just to name a fiew.I Pray heavenly farther to please have mercy on all the innocent people in the world who do not deserve this suffering.☀😥👣🙏
Buenos vídeos 🇨🇷😎🇨🇷😎👍🥇
reminds me of when i used to bounce all over the country on greyhound buses complaining like a lil baby, now i feel like i had to good lol way too good
Gorgeous colour of people. They happy what they got .
Watching this now makes me feel so sad.
Do they re-upload these once a month
Happens even more with music videos.......I don't mind watching these again and again , they're fascinating....
What a shame Haiti, this is the fault of France and other countries that refuse to help !!!!!
What about the corruption because japan got barely any resources and still end up being a good country
This is due to corruption, not due to France and other countries. What happened to the millions and millions of dollars raised for Haitie after the earthquake?
And now there was a political assasination of the president a few weeks ago. If the politics don't change, the people will never get a better life. Why is their neigbour the Dominican Republic so much better of?
@@Dabpsswith American help lol look up the marshall plan you clown
Dictators, 100 percent.
Watching this while riding on an empty, fully healthy, AC blasting, couch seats bus makes me realize how privileged I am and not everyone is actually created equal.
Haiti is not where Columbus first landed ..
On October 12, 1492, Italian explorer Christopher Columbus made landfall in what is now the Bahamas. Columbus and his ships landed on an island that the native Lucayan people called Guanahani. Columbus renamed it San Salvador.
The young mechanic without parents, working very hard to pay for school is commendable.
The two ladies on minute 9:00 just complaining where they think they are the bus owners they have to make up for their jobs and fixing the bus too
