I hear parents are protective of their kids getting on the wrong side of the internet. And as always kids will be resilient and will find work arounds. Nothing is fool proof these days or in old days.

I think it depends on individuals to make things simpler or complex. But in general the overall society is becoming complex with passing time. Be it iron age, be it industrial revolution, be it the IT age and now the era of AI. With complexity comes advancement making the life of an average human a little easier.
