Fallacy is such an underrated gem and has grown on me and the music on that was beautiful for lack of a better word. I saw what he was doing on that track. Much like Message in a bottle which these two was my favourite underrated tracks for the album.

I was really looking forward to this review and I am happy to hear that the crew is as positive (vibes only) as I am on Herbert. To me, Ab Soul's music is special and I want to see the artist win. I will say, I think "It be like that" is a standout and I am surprised it wasn't mentioned in the favorites.

I loved this album from start to end, and somehow, I don't know when, positive vibes only clicked with me and it ended up being one of my faves off the album.
Black Hippy actually is on the album, they're just not credited FOMF features ScHoolboy in the ad-libs, Jay Rock is the distorted voice on the beginning of Bucket & Kendrick does the hook for Herbert
"Gang'Nem" has a whole (dope!) video... the visuals for the whole album are crazy! That's my favorite single, even more than "Do Better". So happy for Soul. Couldn't be prouder of him... can't wait for the new Q!

I remember being 17 when DWTW dropped. First Soulo project I ever heard. 6 years since then and this album didn’t disappoint at all. My favourites were Gang’nem, Bucket, Gotta Rap, Do Better and FOMF

Lotta people don’t love positive vibes only, but when I listen to it, it really is a feel good song. Sonically definitely not for everyone. In the same lane that Art of seduction is not for everyone content wise but the sounds is good. Positive vibes only may not be for everyone sonically but actually I really like that song. It’s feel good music. And I personally feel like if it was put out by a raper who was wacker it would be more well received. It’s still a decent song, it might be a throwaway but when I let it play I really don’t mind it what he’s trying something new but the content is crisp. Just my opinion tho.
If I had to rank my favorite ab-soul albums as of now.... Do What Thou Wilt: 9.5/10 Herbert: 9-9.5/10 Control System: 9/10 These Day....: 8.5/10 Long-term Mentality: 8/10 Long-term 2: 8/10
His Long Term Mentality projects is always his best for me and I think it's supposed to be like that based on the fact that he said that those projects is his hardest work and LT 4 will be his last ever album for him.
Long Term Mentality is mehhhhh too me it wasn't a good follow up after Long Term 2 a 6 at best ... These Days were also mehhhhhh I give it a 7 at best but I agree with the rest of the scores
