4age is great for people who haven't done TB before, non interference so if you mess up you can just do it again.
not to mention: way more room for activities vs FWD car.

DatGui Thanks!! I have a general understanding of these but if people can learn from these videos that’s all I want!
I had the intake cleaned in a hot tank and then just sprayed with a paint that’s meant for cast aluminum! Turned out way better than I had planned!

Thanks man, just picked up a 4AGE for my SR5 86 and was dreading this part of the build, makes it a lot less daunting seeing how simple you put it, as I have never been that deep in an engine before and am terrified.

For the intake manifold is there a pattern on how to bolt it up??

Quick question: you said the knock pin on the right is supposed to face towards the bottom, but that wouldn't line up with the little dimple mark on the cam gear. Does that mean there are two of those dimples on the right cam gear? Couldn't get a good glimpse in your vid. But I still love it!

Was wondering this same thing. He says there should be a hole on the bottom but you can’t even see it. Lucky for me my motors out and I can just confirm..

Great vid. Did you use camlube ( thick oil for the cam journals) to help with its first few revolutions after startup?

BGB just says use engine oil. 10W20 is good enough for the rest of the engine 🤷
