I like Honda/Acura products. I drove Accords since 1981 and just bought my first Acura a 2023 Integra A Spec with the CVT. The overall driving experience is excellent with sharp handling and great driving dynamics and the engine is very fuel efficient if you don't drive like a madman. It has a few shortcomings. Mine has no USB or power outlets for rear passengers, no rear center armrest, came with no spare tire (INEXCUSABLE at this price), and the road noise inside the cabin is much higher than it should be.
I test drove the A-Spec automatic last year. I loved everything about it except the deal breaker CVT, and I didn't want to drive manual. So I ended up buying the 2024 Mazda 3 non-turbo and love it so far.
Bought a 2024 Integra ASpec Tech earlier this year in the dark grey. Very sharp looking car and enough power for day-to-day driving. Also great mpg. Plus, not a lot of other hatch/lift back options in a smaller car if that’s what you want. I like it a lot. I’ve driven a 2024 Civic hatch and the Integra is definitely nicer in terms of interior quality and feel. But agree with others that it’s probably not quite better enough than the Civic to justify the added cost for most people. I don’t like the tacked on infotainment, gloss black trim around the shifter, no spare, no rear vents. Good thing about them not selling well is you don’t see them around much so you get a distinctive looking ride😂 Problem with Acura overall I think is they aren’t truly luxury so they just don’t differentiate enough from Hondas.
The Integra A-Spec is an attention getter in the Lunar Silver. The gloss black spoiler does add character to the car as does the little things like the gloss black lug nuts. Thanks for the advice on the type of donuts to eat in this vehicle.
Seriously considered the 2024 Integra A-Spec but lack of an AWD option and the CVT pushed me to get a 24 Audi Q3 45 TSI. A bit more expensive but had everything i wanted, 8sp Trans, more HP, AWD, spare tire, more ground clearance, etc.
Nice review, Joe. Really like what this vehicle is all about. It knows its lane and doesn't pretend to be something it isn't. It's at the top of my "Next Daily w/ MT for Under 40K" list (with honorable mentions to the Mazda 3 and Elantra N).
I like both the Integra and the Si. It comes down to the pay bracket that you want to stay in. Also the the Integra come with a CVT as well. While the Si doesn't.

I have owned the 2023 version for 2 years now. Love the car but one of my complaints is the cup holders in front of the stick shift. Wish they were positioned differently. I wouldn't say "no" to another 40 Hp (which you could likely get by tuning the thing), but it's a blast to drive. The only real improvement that I'd suggest to Acura is slightly less cabin noise -- it's not noisy, but definitely a bit louder than you expect from Acura. No regrets on my purchase. Why not the S-Type? You lose a couple of key features, but really, for me, it was the drop-off in fuel economy along with the additional cost.

it's like a fan Civic Si
Civic Si hatchback!
Acura change the rims to the same 2025 civic si rims just not black
Near lux and full luxury cars do not have hood prop rods. How much do a pair of gas struts cost? How much more do they ask for this version over the civic? Give it a more powerful engine, give it SHAWD, for Pete’s sake give it simple hood struts. A spec with the technology pack is only about 5 grand away from a base model TLX. I would argue that the TLX is less of an Accord than the Integra is a Civic.
Thanks for sharing your feelings on this one
could buy a elentra n which is way more fun to drive..
I had a 2017 WRX for 6 years that I bought brand new. Loved it for the longest time but then got tired of driving it in ever-worsening traffic so I got an Acura TLX a couple years old. It's comfortable but not loving it as I feel it's too fat and boring. Can anyone who owns an A-Spec manual Integra tell me if this is a fun car to drive? I realize it's down on power and only FWD like its Civic brother. I mean more on the day to day. For me it's down to that and a Lexus IS AWD.
The front looks good but to me the back looks horrendous which keeps me from buying it.. the TLX looks better imo
Everyone has their favorites.
Fun times
1.5 Lt, No
The looks are great but the performance is meh. This and the SI should at a minimum have 30 more hp ideally 50hp. The CVT is another miss but that’s where the market is at unfortunately. I am still not sure that this is worth premium over the Civic sport touring hatchback ack especially now it has a hybrid.
Uh oh, I've got to ZONK you Giuseppe. You failed to show us the huge amount of cargo space with the back seat folded down. It's a strong incentive to buy THIS particular car. No harm done. Love you and your CREW. Another great video.
Nice with a manual transmission.
is that an addendum sticker on windshield? shady dealer?
Selling for almost 44k near me
insane
That thing is 3600 not 3060 lb
Am still on the fence between this and WRX. Decisions decisions...
