The judge seem so biased, give these men a fair trial. These men are innocent until proven guilty, so it is within their right to be treated fairly. I mean they didn’t commit a hideous crime such as murder. Lastly can they put an end to this trial so that if it happens that they are guilty then they serve their sentence and if not let them go. The trial hasn’t began as yet and as a Namibian citizen I am personally bored of it.
Their crimes are tantamount to treason. Over 1000 people lost their jobs and income directly and indirectly. Many people ended up taking their own lives as a consequence of their actions. 100’s of millions of Namibian dollars which could have been used for capital projects and job creations were lost. While we shouldn’t be judging others and should be sympathetic to their current plight, let’s not act like they are some innocent saints.
Baised, how? The judge is asking for pertinent questions with regard to due process. If one defendant decides to represent himself, he may but there are rules and regulations, from what I see there is a "sense of entitlement" because of previous positions held. The law is the law, there is no shortcut!
But it has been clear who has been delaying the commencement of the trial coz the state has been ready to begin but the court has been met with unnecessary motions.
