I am so touched by his story especially his past and his journey to what he is today. I love his honesty and his positivity. I wish him well and all the best in his health. ( I was sadden when he shared his encounter with his cardiologist ). Thank you Shu Lin for sharing this podcast. Very inspiring and motivating. Nothing means more than giving someone or having a second chance. " Josephus , you are a Star ! "
Im a lawyer too and doing pro bono work is truly quite a thankless endeavour. However, I also know of many lawyers who set up shop on their own do lots of pro bono work because they don't have a good foundation of clients (hence use pro bono to gain experience and let more people know of them). Not sure if Josephus had fallen under this situation too, but still credit to him nonetheless for doing that much pro bono work!
Josephus you are so down-to-earth kind humble + compassionate I suffer from deep depression with low energy Most of my life is a struggle I think life is nothing but suffering+ misery I have many regrets that I hate myself Looking back...How could I have been so stupid?? Host you are lively attentive+ entertaining

Looks like Go dreally put him through a lot of self-transcendence. Maybe in future, God wants to use him for something significent. This could be his stepping stones to something greater. I dunno how I will fare if I was in his shoes. That’s all lot tp take in. But glad he persevered. What an inspiration. May God bless you more.
Crimes, it's not just for one generation only, like a father to son and now a son to father, arrested at the birth of a child, marked, an idea is like a seed planted at a young age, manifested thus creating one's understanding of this world, habitus. For most of us, from point A to point B, histories has already been written before it happens.
I wish I could share my personal stories with you. Till today, I am still saddened by it. I am not seeking a lawyer. I just need a listening ear and tell me where it when wrong,
I once called his law firm for some silly neighbour spat issues and remember that his charges is very 'atas'(pretty stiff) compare to a normal lawyer and I finally get another firm. He looks very much like the taiwanese power station duo group style and thanks for sharing so truthfully and willingly. 🌈
Section 22A(1) of the Penal Code describes the fault (or mental) element of a crime in the following terms: “A fault element of an offence refers to any state of mind, proof of which is needed to establish liability under that offence, including but not limited to intention, wilfulness, knowledge, rashness and negligence.” In simple terms, the mental element of a crime (also commonly referred to as the “mens rea”) refers to the state of mind of an offender. Put another way, the mental element of a crime simply refers to the ‘guilty mind’ or ‘fault’ of an offender. There are several other defences recognised by the Penal Code which are premised on the idea that it would be unjust to convict and punish a person who had committed an offence when suffering some form of mental impairment. The defences are unsoundness of mind, intoxication, automatism and diminished responsibility.
Isn’t that wonderful? By helping others through pro bono work, we’re not only making a difference in their lives but also opening ourselves up to amazing opportunities with these amazing stories. God has a special plan for each of us, and I believe that through our actions, we can uncover those plans. Thank you for sharing your vulnerability and strength from God, Josephus. God bless.
And yea that they forgot to mention the 🤖 🦾 circumstances, state of mind, pertaining to the "destruction of evidence". "Trapped in that little room"," A Few pulling of strings behind" Irony. It's repetitive, habitual, it's like doing the same thing over & over again yet expecting different results, there are levels to this, well you are lucky, trying living your entire life being fed shit, destined for failures and expecting a saint, on the side note, it's someone who experiences such lives are able to relate better to the less fortunate but definitely not the condemned.
Thank you for your very aspiring stories. I have learnt a lot and hope to apply it to my life.

The key word is "any" crime, think again.
👍
I know this is very trivial, but how is Josephus short of 70cents when he had $4.20 and the caifan is $5.50.
For a piece of chicken wing, steam egg and vegetables. $5.50 is expensive.! That's not economical price...!!!🙄😬
