Thanks for posting this. Is it possible to have the Axis 1001 ring every SIP phone in the office so that any office phone can unlock the front door?
great setup, great video, thanks
Steve! Yo! can the door station work with BlueIris? I am in need of a door station like this sort. I have BlueIris already. Do not like Ring or anything with cloud nonsense. I want to store the video locally. Thanks and sub'd!!
hi. you will have to call Blue IRIS. I have never heard of them before
Hi Steve
Great video. Do you know if it would work or have you tried using the Axis a8105 with Hikvision IVMS-5200/4200
Ashley Gefaell no I have not tried it with Hikvision.
What sip server did you have that grandstream phone connected to?
Jonathan Keenan none. This is a peer to peer set up
Can the A8105-E do push notifications on Camera Station or MS Teams? We have the A1001 for the ACS too.
in ACS yes. In teams no
Hi Steve, Hope you doing well.
What is the VAPIX command that you used to do the lockdown?

Steve, I'm curious as to where the lockdown logic is happening in this setup. Are there special events/action rules within ACS that are required for this? I own most of this equipment but not ACS and I do not see a way to link the IO to the A1001 in such a way that it would be able to restrict door access via the builtin action rules.
Hi Ryan. Great question. Send me an email and I will tell you how to do it. stevenjussaume@gmail.com
Is Camera Station handling all events? That is, what is the "brains" of this setup that is allowing all the devices to speak to each other and list/react to events?
Andrew C yes and know, most of these events can be done device talking to device, but it is much easier to do it all through acs
Steves' Garage Demos Using ACS could this system keep track of where people are using an in and out reader?
Andrew C event logs would be kept in the A1001 event log
How would you have the P8221 do a lockdown of an A1001 without ACS? Is that even possible?
Ryan Radschlag yes. Email me stevenjussaume@gmail.com
Hi steve , Can we control door lock with A8105-E without using Axis A1001 ?
Shahid Saleem yes you can unlock a lock with the A8105-E but this door station can only push up to 200mA I believe.
Is there any licensing/software costs to a setup like this? I know that hardware cost is another story.. Would like to set up doorstations at two remote gates that can relay to open the gates from a phone
Zach Miller no licensing whatsoever to have this setup. 2 doorstations can call 1 phone
What PBX is the phone connected to?
Zach Miller none. It's peer to peer
Could it function as peer to peer without the Camera Sation appliance?
Zach Miller yes it could. You could just have a door station and grandstream phone
What is the microphone inside the speaker for?
Mainly used for doing a self test. When you log into the speakers interface, you can click the self test button which will send out 3 tones. The mic will listen and confirm if the speaker is working. This can be done all remotely. 2nd option is 2 way audio
Very nice. Thank you for your quick reply.
Thanks Steve.
Any help page to understand Grandstream phone configuration?
I have Axis A8105-E running and opening door, and I have a Grandstreamv GXV3275.
But I don't find information about how show video and open door on phone.
Best regards
