The Tobey Maguire Spider-Man movies are still my favourites. They have that comfortable and romantic atmosphere and depth that makes you feel you could actually be Peter. The Andrew Garfield and Tom Holland movies are totally missing that.
I wish there would be Spider-Man 4, 5, 6 instead of all the reboots.
Yes, Venom in movie 3 is a failure for most fans (like me). But if you can put that aside, this trilogy is truly superb!
Also, people not knowing much about Spider-Man and Venom mostly like this version of Venom.
Yeah I know what you mean. I just watched the first one yesterday again and it not only has this nostalgia feel to it but it's still simply good and entertaining from start to end. It has a lot of great characters/actors and many memorable scenes. This will always be the "original" version we grew up with. Can't believe it's been already 17 years since the movie came out.
