Travelling Australia: Hervey Bay, Maryborough and Noosa

In this episode we towards the coast for a day trip to Hervey Bay and are pleasantly surprised with the beautiful foreshore! As it’s only a quick day trip we can’t help but stop and see some of the flood damage in Maryborough before caving in and heading to Noosa just for a burger!

i live in maryborough and i remember when the floods were starting, EVERYONE was at queens park looking at the river rising. It was so cool

Love the videos.
I live in Maryborough, if you ever come back this way, there's some nice beach camping up near Bundy called kinkuna beach camping very soft sand some spots it's bull dust.
I have videos of kinkuna and my other favourite local camping site Lenthalls Dam just outside of Maryborough also have flooded footage of both floods.. safe travels on your adventures..

Yes leaves gruby from churned brown water.
Amazing in the wet season to sit safely and watch it rising.

I'm 53 and as a kid my parents would leave Melbourne with my sister and I in the middle of July to do the road trip as my auntie and cousins lived in Hervey Bay. I went back there 2 years ago and stayed there for a night for the fist time in 40 years on my way to Fraser island and was really disappointed at how big and commercialised Hervey Bay had become

We could see that not long ago it would of been a sleepy little town, moving away from the foreshore almost everything is new!

We visited the Noosa beach A month ago and believe me it's so gorgeous and beautiful place with wildlife and beach side by side it's so awesome everyone should visit it.
