BRAZIL'S BEST HIKE AND TREK. CHAPADA DIAMANTINA and VALE DO PATI.

The Chapada Diamantina has the best hikes in Brazil. This beautiful national park in Bahia State is home to stunning canyons and the best trek in Brazil, Vale do Pati. The towns of Lencois and Capao are the bases to explore the region. Hiking the Cachoeira da Fumaca and staying with local families in the Vale do Pati are must do experiences in the Chapada Diamantina.
I am a channel who hikes. I go to places like the Grand Canyon, Yosemite, Lake Tahoe, Patagonia, Nepal, Mexico, Costa Rica, New Zealand, Colorado, Washington, Yellowstone. I have traveled to every country I the world.

Hi, I really enjoyed your video and I am looking to do hike in the Chapada Diamantina National Park in April 2024. I was doing some research and the guided tours are pretty pricey. Is there anywhere I could find your research and the route you have followed? Would you recommend to others to travel into the park on their own? I will also inquire with Alaluz Caminhando, they looked like fun! Thank you so much for any info, tips,... !!

Hi there! It was a little difficult to follow the trails and guides often don't want to share much info.I use Strava, where I (Brian Asher) post my routes and this route was in July 2023. I would reach out to Alaluz on instagram as they were very sweet ladies!
