- Amanda and I quit our jobs in June and set off to travel the world. After two months in Latin America our last stop was Sao Paulo. With only 2 days we decided to stay in Liberdade, mainly because we love Japanese culture and wanted to see what the largest community of Japanese people outside Japan would be like. Also because we missed really good Asian food!
Sorry if us gringos pronounced any Portuguese wrong in the video!
reminds me a bit of a bigger version of Los Angeles' little tokyo. both are kinda touristy
Hey..looks like you are having a blast..enjoy and take care of yourself

Like, like , like so like.
wait 40 minutes in line for coffee?! lol I'm so glad I dont drink coffee
Why is it that you spend so little time in these places if you're full-time travelers ? 2 days here, 2 days there. I don't know how you can appreciate any place in the world in 2 days. Let alone a city with 18 million people and so much more to see and do. You haven't even scratched the surface. Anyway, just curious.
That’s a fair question! We just had different modes throughout our trip. Sometimes we stayed in a place for a month or more and sometimes we had to be in a city just to fly so we stayed for a couple days to explore.
It's actually Sao Paulo's Chinatown, there are more Chinese there these days like you two are Chinese I think quit jobs from America then Koreans and japanese, did you got it wrong?
Brazilians always say Chinatown or Asiatown!
