This is a really cool freezer/fridge. I have the rugged version with the cool wheels and tow bar and I used it for the first time going cross country. I kept it in my little RV (using the DC) because the 3way fridge in the RV just barely keeps stuff cool. When I stopped the first time to check it, (about 6 hrs into my trip) everything was frozen…I forgot to set the temps! So yes it works great. While at my nephew’s house I kept it plugged into power and for 2 months it ran perfectly. I then unplugged it and removed my stuff and it was still frozen! This is a great cooler! I have the 37 qt.
Great to hear! Aside from the weight of the product itself being a bit much, this thing has been super useful for me so far for keeping things cool on road trips or while traveling!
Very informative and to the point… i just bought one on amazon for black friday special. I figured I would take advantage of the price and buy it first and then re-search later. Thank you!
Thank you for your excellent review. I couldn’t figure how how to get my freezer section colder than the refrigerator side (accidentally had the frig/freezer backwards), thank you for helping me figure it out. I’m feeling much more Intelligent now, lol!
At the beginning, you mentioned no external snag points, so you could pack the vehicle Tetris style. You CANNOT block the vents on this unit or it will get super hot, and not doing a remedy for the air flow, you will kill the fridge. I have one in my camper van but a different brand with almost identical specs and have been using it for 2 years now. No problems at all, so far. I power mine with the solar setup. I can keep this running day and night along with the roof fan and the 12v TV, phone charging, and LED lights on just one (1) 12v LiPO battery and have never used more than 20% battery thru the night.
i just ordered the 53wt model, it appears to be the same thing that is in this video. i got it from amzon for $270, must be considered an out of season item now to get such a good price
Do you still have this unit ? Works ok in fridge mode. In dual mode, started having trouble again, raised fridge side all the way to max, 68 degrees F, actual temp. gets to 30 degrees F. It's been running for days , so it's had plenty of time to stabilize. Tech support states, " temperature difference is within the normal range. " Seems like something is wrong.
Freezer between 0-20 degrees , fridge side gets down to 30-32 degrees, set temp between 38-68, actual stays between 30-32 degrees. In single mode more stable. Thanks.
@@ja9915 Yeah it’s normally not an issue if you’re opening it a bunch but if it’s closed for prolonged time, the colder side will creep to the fridge side. I normally ally do like you did and turn the fridge side up a bit then also turn the freezer side up slightly if needed to neutralize the temps
It’s 60 watts if you’re just starting it up but if you get it to temp before hand and put it into eco mode, it’s about 20-30 watts. Set the freezer to 10 degrees for best power efficiency.
Hi, Is it only me but I'm not able to connect over bluetooth this Bodega units ? Even following their protocol, there is no blinking icon for pairing, no real visibility on the cell bluetooth scan etc. Only succeded for wifi connection, but this is not a real scenario for road usage. Thx for comments
Yeah that’s misleading. If there’s a way for it to run on some sort of battery, I haven’t been able to figure it out yet. I’ll have to play with it some more but I think that basically just lets you know it’s getting power.
Sorry to hear that, mine has been working well and I’ve had it just about 2 years. I would try to contact them and see if it would be covered under warranty since the motor is 3 year warranty and the rest is 2 year warranty!
@@TonyTheTruckGuy thank you for letting me know about warranty I had no clue, so I’m still good but the company is based out of chine I think and I don’t know how they would help me.
@@Lasharella Haha yeah I’ve used mine like that for a few weekend trips but luckily mine is still kicking. Yeah I’m not sure what they’d do being in China and all, but still may be worth emailing or messaging on Amazon.
Just got the T 60 today. Does your fridge temp drop WAYYY below set temp ? I set mine at 35F & freezer at -2. The fridge drops down to 9F. Is that normal ?
It might drop down for a bit like that until everything equalizes. I also found that if you have the freezer set super low, you may want to set the fridge portion a little higher than normal because some of the cold from the freezer portion will bleed into the fridge portion.
Awesome review. I’m mostly interested in using it as one zone freezer in my motorhome basement. Does the fridge zone temp go as low as the freezer zone? Thanks.
@@Cometxx6 Have you tried unplugging the cooler for a few minutes and then try pairing bluetooth again? Might be an app issue as well. I'd try deleting the app and download it again.
I just bought this T50 six weeks and twice have had 3 dashes come up on the refrigerator screen. Ambient temperature this time 61, ambient temperature last time 75. There is nothing on the troubleshooting guide or manual about how to fix. Worse. They literally have NO customer service. The only way to get in touch is by email, and they do not respond. I advise people not to buy from this company.
I’m sorry to hear you’ve had bad luck with yours and are having a hard time contacting customer support. Did you purchase from their website or on Amazon?
Easily the most useful review on the internet!! Thank you for your attention to detail and actually helping me make an informed choice! 😀
Glad it was helpful!

Thanks for the feedback! Mine has held up and still working properly so hopefully you’ll have the same experience.
What was the black Friday price?
I think it was about 260
You did the best job/video on this item I have seen out of the more than 10 I have watched. Thank you sir.

Correct, the vent does need a little breathing room. I just meant it doesn't need several cubic feet around it during simple car transports.
Great video sir!!! Thanks for doing this.

Fantastic review; really appreciate the detail and items covered. Do you happen to know what the wattage draw is (maybe I missed it in the video)?
I don’t think I mentioned it. Their Amazon listing claims 60 watts.

The only thing that concerns me about all of these coolers is the warranty and who will fix them.
Yeah I don’t blame you. Luck of the draw kind of. I’d imagine I’d be buying a new one if anything happened to this one 😂😭
I’ve had this fridge for 2 years almost and now it went bad and don’t know what to do, mine is big one too 80qt
Forget about fixing anything at this price point. Just buy and cross your fingers hahahaha
Well I did buy one and so far so good!

Do you have this exact cooler? And you did download the correct app to try and pair with the cooler, correct?
Same issue and exact cooler. Do not recommend for this reason.
Does it work when not connected to mains voltage or car 12v connection. As it shows a battery indicator?

I think it only works when power is from these sources.
U have to buy a battery
@@jondaly8227 Ah! That would make the most sense. Did you find it on their website? Curious how much battery with power cord would be.

I’m not sure about the other models, but the one in this video goes to -4°F for the freezer, and +14°F for the fridge.
