In this new series, we are going to discuss Scrupulosity OCD. Scrupulosity OCD is a form of OCD focusing around one’s religion or morality. It's common to also hear it referred to as religious OCD or moral OCD and can lead to a hyper-focus on morality and whether or not something is right and wrong.
Scrupulosity is one of the various subsets of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) that can be identified in individuals who experience repetitive, intrusive thoughts (otherwise known as obsessions) surrounding a discrepancy in their religious or moral beliefs.
So in this first episode, we are going to talk about faith and fear and how they intersect with our religious beliefs so we can begin recognizing and separating our fear and anxiety from our actual faith. Click here to get instant access to the workshop: restoredminds.com/breaking-fr...

Very nice. What I hear you saying is it’s not the content of the symptoms but the anxiety of the symptoms that is our main goal to overcome with ocd.

I think that most people understand logically religious ocd and what's realistic and what's not... But problem is how to avoid and move your thoughts from same circle, it's like every morning after we wake up we start thinking about same problem, how to move to life and start thinking about job and other things.. It's like old stupid thought got recored like on tape and it's playing over and over again.. Real question is how to overcome it and move on?
