I am all for a good deal, but it isn’t the only consideration. Amongst various examples, I buy Canadian-grown garlic at minimum 5 times the price I could buy Chinese-grown garlic. That extra cash goes to support my local farmers and their local supply chain, who are my neighbours - that, to me, is the deal.
I agree with buying local, we do similarly with different items. And it is a deal, there is an added value for sure. We even try to mostly eat at local restaurants, when it comes to sit-down dinners. Had an amazing dinner last night at a local place. And thanks Aaron, it was a great shave on an incredibly beautiful day!

Another great shave Tobin. I totally agree that the PAA brushes are awesome and for the price, amazing and punch waaaaay above their weight. I need to get another Peregrino brush, as i dropped my first one in the shower and the handle died a horrible death. I just ordered a Shave Mac custom brush, 1st one for me. Cool online customizer for the brush. Looking forward to trying it out when it arrives. And keep your format. Don’t worry about the content, real is great and refreshing. I can really see a progress from your first vid to this one. You’re much more relaxed and easy going. I’m in for more, keep ‘em coming!

The money that eBay would take I just pass on to the buyer, then they save money and I get paid a lot faster. Another thing with eBay now is it takes about a week to get paid for any sale. Making Instagram even more attractive for me. It's a win-win, eBay used to pay us immediately, but back on 01/01/21 they changed things. Have a good one!

And regarding your explanation on cost and your effort. Stick with it. I’m a consultant who bills hourly. And your time is money. Especially when you’re bringing your expertise to the work. So yes, there is the perspective of worth, but there is the minimum value to you for your effort and time you shouldn’t go below, plus profit (which is the whole point). I take that same thought process and apply it to my personal life too. For example, if a service costs me less per hour then my billable rate and I value the service (which for me is really personal time saved since I work a lot and it’s stressful) then it’s completely worth it. Bottom line, don’t sell yourself short or feel bad about it!!

Hey Steve! No, the green-ray has what PAA calls a Tribble synthetic knot. It's a different fiber than the ones found in the Starcraft and Peregrino. I love that Tribble knot, and the handle because it's the color of our Alma mater the University of Oregon. Thanks for watching Steve! I'm loving these outdoor shaves! Oh, and Go Ducks!!
