Primed for modern hard rock and metal, the Jackson® Pro Series King V™ KVTMG, is a regal guitar designed to deliver giant and crushing tone.
The Pro KVTMG offers premium features including a resonant mahogany body and graphite-reinforced through-body maple neck with hand-rubbed oil back finish and wrap-around heel for increased playing comfort. Built for maximum playing speed and comfort, its 12"-16" compound radius bound ebony fingerboard features 22 jumbo frets and pearloid sharkfin inlays.
Powered by a pair of brawny EMG® 81 and EMG 60 humbucking pickups, this brutally powerful instrument delivers commanding punch while retaining clarity with enhanced note definition, a critical component for modern metal. The Pro KVTMG also features single volume and tone controls, three-way pickup toggle switch, radius compensated TOM-style bridge and an anchored tailpiece for laser intonation along the length of the neck.

Not really, just some parts, it was recorded mostly using the Gibson Explorer.

It recorded MOST of Master of Puppets if not al of it.
Multiple articles including "Messengers" speak on it.
@@OxfordGuitars Being a Metallica fan since 84 I also thought Puppets was recorded on 1 of the 2 84 Explorers and KBJ was a back up and used live on The Thing That Should Not Be.
