Barbecue Sauce Recipe I Tuffy Stone

- I have been making this barbecue sauce for years. I included the recipe in my cookbook and it is also on my www.tuffystone.com website. In this recipe video, I share how I have modified it. After years of making it, I decided to make a change, which I think makes the sauce much better. One thing to remember is this sauce actually gets better, after refrigerating for 24 hours. Great on all grilled and smoked meats.
I just finished making it, and the flavor is amazing. I would classify it as a hot bbq sauce, not excessively but the cayenne could be reduced. I started with one cup of water and that seems the right thickness for my taste. To reduce the sugar I used Swerve brown sugar substitute so I estimate the sugar to be reduced by half.
The beauty of this recipe is I had all the ingredients on hand, so in 15 minutes it was done except for the simmering.

Goes great on ribs, brisket, pork shoulder, chicken....
I'm guessing put it on an ole flip flop and it would taste great...
Tuffy, love ya but this is a basic sauce recipe. Stop promoting your cookbook. I hate watching a vid that promotes something. Get back to cooking
That was a pretty Lowe Blow comment you made. Tuffy has a lot of fans out there including me, so sharing some of his recipes and promote his cookbook here is a no brainer.
If you don't like the sauce make your own video. And why have a cookbook and not promote it. Damn.
