Four Simple but Beautiful Botanical Art Ideas for Your Sketchbook

Flowers and plants don’t have to be difficult or daunting to draw! Today we will add botanicals to our sketchbooks in four simple and unique ways. In fact, I loved the striking color combo with the bright red and lavender so much that I stopped what I was doing and whipped out my sketchbook to give it a go! I'm waiting for the paint to dry, but I'm stoked!I love how you put colors together! When I can engage with a a bit more concentration, I'll try the layered leaf combos as well! So fun! THANK you! 🤗
p.s.-my 'bright red' ended up being more of a brick red, so we'll see. I'll have to alter the lavender a bit 😬

@kristinahunterart Since I had made a brick red base (instead of the bright red,) I did turquoise leaves with a bright tangerine orange for the details! Thank you for suggesting that we experiment with bold, non-ordinary color combos! The outcome was so fun! 🥰🤩
