How to find a galaxy - The Andromeda Galaxy (M31):
Вставка
- Опубліковано 18 чер 2024
- In this video, Josh demonstrates how to find The Andromeda Galaxy (M31) - a galaxy located 2.5 million light-years from Earth.
With some basic knowledge of the night sky, the major constellations and at best using a pair of binoculars, it is actually possible to see it!
This video was created in memory of Wayne Campbell - the creator of the ScienceOnline videos who inspired Josh to look up to the night-sky when he was a youngster.

I'm enjoying your presentation. Thank you!
great video. you probably misspoke by saying :"a lightyear is the amount of time, it takes for light
to travel in one year". you meant: is the amount of distance the light travels in one year.
thanks, greetings from Switzerland.
best guidance to M31 I saw so far. Congrats.
Josh you rock!!
Thank that's is very helpful and useful.I shall be on the look out for our neighbourly galaxy,Andromeda(M30)?

Love your voice madly. Your video is not only helful, but satify my eyes and satify my ears too. Thank you so much.
Very engaging and informative.
Enjoyed Josh Dury your presentation under the night sky.
Its almost impossible for me to see that many stars from where I live now. The best part about the year I lived in Nevada was the night sky in the Mojave Desert.
I’ve already found my galaxy. It’s a little place I like to call “The Milky Way.”
Thank you, I have enjoying your video that I start study Andromeda. Your presentation is pull into university

Which country you bro?
The sky at your back is fake, isn’t it? Your accent is beautiful as starry sky.
Thanks very much! Not that's the real deal and fortunate enough to see the night-sky from a dark place! :) thanks for the support!
...I noticed that too. Around 5:08, 5:25 ...the lights directly above his head move with his motions. Different times you see this.
@@besticudcumupwith202 but we must say that made-by-him-sky is very beautiful
I hope you aren't mocking the science online guy because he passed away about 2 years ago
