Hey Max my buddy is offering his '89 EF (D16Y8 swapped) to me for $3500. I daily drive a 2019 WRX but I love the EF. The EF would probably be the money pit while I keep the WRX stock (since I'm terrified to mod the Subaru lol). What are your thoughts?

Just remember that an EF is a 30+ year old car and is bound to have issues no matter what. It's a fantastic car but i would say if youre buying someone elses swap and it's youre only car, I wouldnt recommend it. I would only buy it if you have another form of transportation as well. Youre bound to encounter some problems.
