I love that we always have such eclectic gatherings...the more the merrier!! Unfortunately, we have decided to not host any parties/dinners this year. Just hoping every little way that we can all try to do our part helps keep someone safe. I hate to hear anyone being lonely this time of year, but I guess it can't be helped in 2020 - no surprise there. I hope you can find joy in great music, maybe some good wine, and a zoom visit with family and friends! Nashville is super friendly...you will have a family of friends this time next year. A buddy teched for the Foos for a little while, which included the tour they did with Dylan. He mentioned in passing to Grohl that his band had had a minor regional hit in Ohio (Columbus, I believe), and mentioned the song to Dave. Dave exclaimed "Man, I *love* that song!", immediately sat down at the drums and pounded it out, beat for beat, roll for roll, cymbal splash for cymbal splash, like he had been practising for the studio recording. There's a reason why the drumming on all these tunes sounds so authentic. Dave has clearly committed it to memory all these years.
