I'm very curious about going to new areas that you haven't gone through while driving as a new driver un-experienced to know the locations or going on vacation out of state in U.S.A., Colorado. There are a lot of blind spots to look out for. Everyone drives so different when I'm on the roads. Some drive under the speed limits while other drivers cut you off or honked at you. I'm 40 years old & I still have my Instruction Permit, expires till 2026. I have so much time to practice and being on the look out for traffic, on the highways or entering the right-of-ways intersections. So much to learning with confident + staying calm without feeling fear when taking the behind the wheel on the roads for the past 7 months now. Getting ready for my Driver's License test soon on a much clear warmer days to come. Snows here! Video was very helpful with Tips and understanding the basics. Some states are very different.
Great job taking your time to practice and build confidence as a new driver. Remember, staying calm and observant is key. Good luck with your driving test, and stay safe on the roads! 🚗👍
If I stopped red stop light but pedestrian was waiting. I started To go after it was clear then it started beeping I was through the crosswalk is that a ticket if they weren't in the crosswalk still on sidewalk?
Suppose Car A is turning right on green light and same time Car B from oncoming traffic is turning left. So who have right of way. Do car A need to stop and let Car B turn. Or car A can make right turn and Car B (turning left on same street) will have to wait until Car A finishes right turn .????
Hi, I need some help. I am visiting the US for the first time and I have a few questions regarding turning right I can't find any answers to. 1. When the lights are green in my direction (no separate left or right turn stoplights on the intersection) but pedestrians also have a green light, what do I do? Do I wait for a gap between them or do I wait for them to completely cross? 2. Can I turn right on red if pedestrians are waiting for a red light on my right? 3. If I have to crawl into the pedestrian crossing when checking if I can go at a stopsign/light. Do I give pedestrians that arrive later at the crossing the right of way or do I go first?
Question. If im making a right turn on red, do i need to stay in the right lane and not do a wide turn??? Because i failed my road test becuase i made a wide turn when turning right.
Even if I'm from Europe and we don't have this rule here it's still nice to watch different regulations. Btw. I've heard that San Francisco is about to ban right turn or reds, what's your opinion about it? Is banning turns on red going to make cities safer for pedestrians, or will it cause even more traffic congestion?
@@christinamayers3234 a distracted driver could also run the red light. Pedestrians should also be sure to make eye contact with the drivers of the cars.
In 38 states, you can also make a left on red but only if both intersection streets are one-way. But, in only 5 other states, you can also make a left on red from a one-way street and two-way street onto a one-way street. You cannot turn left on red onto a two-way street, not even from a one-way street.

Thanks a lot for the video, Jacqueline! Excellent explanation! I like how you went over it a few times and also explain the reason behind it.

@@Zutobi_US Hi could you could do a driving video on how to drive over different kind of speed bumps and what speed?
@@Zutobi_USWould it be possible?
Colorado has some crazy drivers 💀making learning pretty hard for beginners, but these videos really helped out.
Your smile is infectious. Thank you for detailed video.
happiest driver i've ever seen!
Thank you so much,i learned alots about right turn on red light after seeing this video clip.
Very useful.🙏🙏❤️
You are an amazing!! Thank you for clearing my doubts. Very helpful
Very important
I’m so tired of Miami because people always get mad when I make a complete stop turning right. 🤦🏽♀️
Your safety is more important than other people's stupidity. Keep doing it.👍
@@KaylaJohnson-lm6zy Just ignore them because you won't be able to do anything perfect to please everyone. Some people are just bullies
lmao it’s fl, nobody can drive😂
thanks Jacquiline ❤
Thank you
Thank you!😀
Wonderful video! In California you're also not able to turn against a red arrow, correct?
Are you asking about right or left turn?
I think he's asking about right turns.
And, by the way, Amtrak Productions, you are correct.
Do your wheels or the car need to be position going to the right, like the way turning to left?
thank you!
What about if you want to wait for the green light just to be safe. Is this wrong? I'm about to do my driving test, if I wait will this be wrong?
Hi when making the right turn should you make sure that both lanes are clear from cross traffic or just that the nearest lane is clear? Thanks
I do both, just because I never know if someone is going to merge to my lane super quickly or as they are approaching
Kinda like what happened @ 6:26

Jacqueline how come you did use the red arrow as a example???

Pedestrians always have right of way, never drive with a person in the way😊
Jacqueline is the best!

Correct. Turn into the nearest lane that is clear. Also make sure no one is turning left from across the intersection

It will cause more congestion
@@jayasmrmore3687 True but a pedestrian can still be hit by a distracted driver. That's why New York City has always had this ban

You cannot turn left on red onto a two-way street, not even from a one-way street.
Hi what does the one-way sign mean?
You can only drive in 1 direction on a one way street
No turn signal and pulling up to stop past the line.
Stop > Legal? > Safe? > Go!
In many other parts of the world turning right (or left depending on the country) on a red light is a serious traffic offense.
Where do you live
I hear her mention California a couple of times, so I'm guessing Cali
Come on...What is the purpose of traffic lights if everybody decides on their own wether or not to go through red...this is not good practice...,👎
