I'm not on steam or gog, so hopefully my comment will get seen here lol... Suggestion - would it be possible to add an "Attack All" command option that has your entire team do basic attacks with 1 button press? I play a jrpg that has that option and it's a massive qol feature that adds up over the course of hundreds of hours played
This is sort of already built in -- one button causes the front line to all fight and the back line to all parry, which was the most common course of action on Apple II. Since the backline is usually spellcasters and you need to manage your spell points manually, the one-button press only covers free actions, not things that would require a strategic choice like picking a spell.
as soon as I heard about this game, I went to steam on my mac and bought it.... it's not supported on IOS. damn I was so crushed, I'll just have to wait until I get back home from my travels to play it.
@@annihilationgamingTM Consider this: Dosbox exists. There's also Mini vMac, which I'd honestly consider the superior version due to the Swag Bag. Why pay for a game I already own? Sure, it's got a few QoL changes, but there's a lot of fluff and bloat that just doesn't need to exist.
@@DigitalEclipse Cool. I think 30 bucks is a bit excessive for a single remaster. To each their own, especially one stuck in Early Access. Honestly, if there's any game in this franchise that needs a remaster, it's Wiz8. The scaled encounters and difficulty curve is... jank. Not difficult, but very inconsistent. You get some odd difficulty spikes. Plus the Everquest era graphics gives me nostaliga for EC Tunnels before they introduced the Bazaar, but are honestly more jarring than the original Wizardry wireframes. Maybe redo 6-7-8 and release as a trilogy? I'd pay thirty bucks for the three in a pack. I wouldn't pay thirty bucks *each*, though.
@ Digital Eclipse I know that question you asked was "rhetorical" but I can answer why gamers play for 50 plus hours and say it "sucks" and go back to play the game. It's because of ENTITLEMENT 😆 These "Fanboy" gamer's spent their "$30-40 on this game" and they're going to play it until the beat at least once 😂 and either go play a different game or start a New Game. Just so they can "complain" some more 🤣 I'm not ENTITLED so regardless what I spent on a game ? If I don't like I don't ever play it again, period 😆 But then again I mostly rent games , because I'm SMART 😝 P.S. But it's good your going to add a "difficulty slider" or option 😆 P.S. I already pre-order the game on Xbox so I'll be playing it either Thursday or Friday 😁 and I don't typically pre-order digital 😝 This is the 2nd time, first was the Cyberpunk Phantom Liberty 😛
On a whim, I searched for Wizardry, a game I remember well from my Apple days. This is a pleasant surprise to say the least.
Played thousands of hours of this on Apple II +. This game was a foundation experience of my lifetime.
Great remake of the great game, thank you so much for your work! I hope you'll remake also at least the whole Llylgamyn trilogy.
i look forward to this game.
It looks great, make me want to try it. I miss Wizardry: Tale of the Forsaken Land. Can you make a game similar to that?

its a damn shame that nobody is streaming this game on twitch or youtube.
Probably because no one wants to spend thirty bucks for an early access version of a game older than most of the streamers on youtube.

So very true 😆
But this game is for the OG crowd 😜

Plenty of people have -- we mean, beyond us in the video above. :)

where is the manual? more specifically how do you transfer items from 1 char to another?
In town or in camp, players can give each other items.
all I ask, is adding a lost level restore at the temple. character can die, and be brought back, why cant levels?
Level drain restoration has been added to the Temple of Cant.
Nice Video ! Sub & Big Like ! And Love Wizardry Game !
