The outputs from the Tonex Project have hit 2500 downloads. Jamie Humphries (ex Brian May guitarist) is using the profiles for Queen soundalike recordings and eejit here has done 60+ gigs successfully with them. The team at Recovering Queen Podcast are also using the tech for their Queen covers.

Ta. Been absorbing several of your podcasts over the last few days. Not a Queen/Brian May 'obsessive' (at the time of writing), but was around 'BQ' (before Queen), been playing 40 years, bought the RS book last week, now GASing for an RS in green (green Red Special?). If I pull the trigger, no doubt I'll be 'chasing the unicorn' and a pickup swap will follow - pick a guitarist, any guitarist and there'll be the same obsession. You're not alone... Anyhoo, wanted to say thanks for the pointers to where to find the rabbit hole opening.

@@TheRedSpecialGuitarPodcast I ended up getting a BMG Special LE, in green, then a few days later ordered the tortoiseshell plastics. Can't see me throwing three grand + on the Super... I probably would have if it had been available in the green. I really like it, but I'm not 'chasing the last 5%', so the LE will do, for now.
