Wow indeed! I've been waiting for this! It did not disappoint! Always wanted to go across your s-curve bridge and it was even more scenic than I expected. Cruising between the buildings on the low line was so inspiring! It's very immersive, thought I was 160th my size and right there! Thanks Mike!
What a great culmination of all your years of work on this layout. Your modeling shows up very well under close scrutiny! It was a bit of a thrill to roll past all the familiar sites we have watched develop over time. Thanks for this video, it was very enjoyable.
An amazing perspective that illustrates the level of detail that is contained in your layout. Very impressive and well done Mike! I could watch these for hours......
Cab rides are great! Especially when a person gets to see parts of the railroad that normally aren't visible from the aisles. Oh, also the insides of the tunnels. 8^)
Nike this was awesome to watch, I have always said if you want so see how good a layout is this is how you see it. I must say this is not only AWESOME but truly wonderful to see. I would like to see the car too. I want to do a camera car based on SO camera car one day. Thanks for sharing Jack 👍👍👍👍👍😀
Thanks Mike , getting to take a ride on the A.C.T.R.R. was great ! I love these kinds of videos . I hope to be able to do this myself someday . David Poulsen
Well Mike, a very nice surprise! The ride clearly shows your eye for detail, that someone else said the viewer misses. FYI I bought the track planning software you suggested and I am making headway. I did contact a couple of guys who do track plans and after they told me about the cost, thought I did not need to take out a loan and try it myself. Very cool video!!
To say that you are the Cecil B. DeMille of model railroading filming would be sucking up. LOL I will say, your back drop enhanced this cab ride for me. Thanks for all your posting! Mario
This is wonderful Mike, nice to see a close up of the details. Even better when you realize, I've watched it from the time the old AC&T was decommisioned.
Wow. As soon as my wife is done watching her Lifetime shows, this is going on the 80 inch. The detail of your layout is phenomenal. You have given me so many ideas for my own layout, and I thank you. Fun video. Cheers 🍻
I really liked this Mike. Going to watch it again. It's ice to see your layout from the "cab" vantage point. It does seem like there's some interesting scenery that can only be seen from that POV, though. I'd like to see more of this kind of thing as your layout continues. Maybe some cab rides during operations?
I think you may have created your new monster, to do yard switching and moving both forward and backwards taking videos will be neat even running into the repair shop while the welding going on.
Hey Mike this is Darren from Wisconsin a I like that video that was pretty cool very interesting you know that was probably one of the best cab rides I've seen in awhile so I just wanted to let you know so sorry talk to you later
Hi ya Mike. I would’ve missed the inaugural cab ride for anything. That was great. Is that one of the cube cameras? I’ve seen them used before. They don’t like the frequencies coming off fluorescent lights. That’s where the waving lines come from. This is the way to see your wonderful layout. Nicely done Mike. Cab rides can be difficult in N scale. You did great. Thanks, see ya next time. You should do another one with just the layout lights on. For a nighttime cab ride.
Mike, I knew that you would really like doing a track level cab view of your layout. What kind of camera is it? I use a Polaroid Cube+ camera (out of production) that uses wifi to connect to my iPhone 6 (it won't connect to my newer iPhone 11) ao it is able to be viewed while it is filming and/or cast to a TV. Great ride, thanks for sharing your great layout....John
Say Mike, I was watching the video on the TV (50"vs 5" phone) n wifey came in and was asking me questions about your layout. One question I couldn't answer was the layout size... could you let me know the dimensions of the layout. Thanks
These cab rides are always fun. Always good to see the layout from traack level. Nice job
Thanks Craig and Thanks to my buddy , Rich.
Mike
Very clever video. It's a great way to see your structural and scenic details we wouldn't normally notice in a background shot. Thanks!
Thanks Drew. It also show non-sceniced areas.
Mike
Watching again on 11/24/22. Great memories Mike.
Superb! The speed of the trrain was perfect. Some folks are moving toooo fast and I can't *see* the scenery. I'll be watching again *with* my wife.
Cool !!
This awesome. You just put a new whole spin on your layout. It looks so real.
Thank You Brother !!!

Mike
When the last video dropped I said a pov video would be great. Keep up the great videos.
Thanks Anthony.
Mike
Very nice layout tour, I like how you finish the inside of the tunnels
Thanks Joe , it is black foam core board.
Mike
This is really cool. It is like riding through a Bob Ross painting. I purchased a very tiny cam from Menards on sale recently for this very thing.
To say that you are the Cecil B. DeMille of model railroading filming would be sucking up. LOL I will say, your back drop enhanced this cab ride for me. Thanks for all your posting! Mario
Thanks so much Mario
An awesome cab ride, Mike. That was a real treat. Thank you for sharing, David

Thanks but I will likely not do any with switching.
Mike
Very well done cab ride...
I think you may have created your new monster, to do yard switching and moving both forward and backwards taking videos will be neat even running into the repair shop while the welding going on.
Fun ride Mike. Reminds me some of the one I did on my layout a few years back now, but your scenery is much more believable.
Thanks George and you are too modest.
Mike
Looks good Mike... the Illinois Central and a Santa fe freight keep on pushing Mike Fifer cause they're running late ! Thanks for posting 👉
Thanks so much James !!!

No , it was not very good.
Mike
I was hoping you were going to show the camera car at the end. Maybe next time?
I do not know as the car is not mine.
