- I had a GREAT experience in Kyoto using an authentic Katana and learning the Bushido way. It was an exciting way to connect with history and do some inner reflection.

Seeing a brother training to become a samurai is so badass!!!!!
Thank you for giving a watch! It was a fun experience!!
I'm convinced. I'll be doing this when I go in October!
Do it! It was a great experience!
This is Legendary bro!! Keep experiencing & thanks for sharing a chapter!
Thanks big bro for tapping in!!
Just booked this for September. Belgian Samurai mode activated. Looks like a fun experience.
It was a GREAT experience! I wish you to enjoy your trip! I’m plotting on going back, I just do not know when!
Really good for someone (I’m guessing) that doesn’t regularly practice iaido. Would have been more interesting if they let you do cuts other than the kesagiri, like the gyakugesa or suihei.
I have never practiced prior to this! I really appreciate this compliment!!
Nice bro!! Do they provide costume? Is it included in the plan? Can directly go there without tripadvisor?
@@sijojoseph1735 yes they do provide you with the attire for the experience.
Yes you can go directly on TripAdvisor and look up Kyoto samurai experience!
@@TheAlchemistsGardenGot it! Thanks for prompt reply:)
@ No biggie, sounds like you’re planning a trip. I wish you to enjoy your adventure!
@@TheAlchemistsGarden yes! Looking forward to it.
How long did the whole experience last? I want to go to the one in Tokyo but I don't understand time management. On the page it says 75 minutes for the katana but I don't know if those 75 minutes include the basic ticket that contains the museum and other activities.
With the Kyoto experience on TripAdvisor, the entire activity is like 90min. You really only spend about 15min with the Katana and 15min prior to that learning how to properly use the wooden sword in its place. The other 60mins seems to be split 30 & 30 with different aspects of understanding the history and traditions that come along with the responsibilities of being a Samurai.
Very cool dude youre like Yasuke.
I could maybe be the reincarnation 🤷🏿♂️🤲🏿
