The greatest group ever,. There is not a single word or lyric in this song that does not ring true to those of us who loved and lost at some point. My favorite of many wonderful songs they did. Saw them live in 1987 and they were wonderful and great with fans.
One of the greatest quartets in country music history. I believe that the Statler Brothers are even more popular now....and I could listen to them all of the time. When I was in Staunton Virginia I walked their museum. A lot of great memories from that foursome.

the statlers never made a bad song. this is one of their best. it's sad there's no real groups anymore. the statlers and oak ridge boys were the greatest

They are like fine wine just getting better with age. I also wish they would make a come back before it is too late. I am almost 28 and I love love love their music. My mamma raised me right :)

They left out Lew Dewitt. He was one of the founders before passing, RIP . Loved his voice.
They didn't leave him out! Kind of hard to make a video with a dead person! Jimmy Fortune does a damn good job...I could listen to him 24-7
Jimmy was actually brought in because of Lew! He liked the way Jimmy sang and offered him the tenor spot due to his complications. It was sad when he passed but Jimmy was fit to fill in the hole in the quartet
No one will ever come close to the Statlers .i love everything they do.

I became a fan at a very small age listening to my 4 uncles sing their songs acapella. My Daddy also would pick his guitar & sing the songs as well. So listening to these guys take me back those days. I remember listening to them on 8track every time I cleaned my room!
