That sure looks like it's going to be fun to ride. OK, now on to the next project! LoL Enjoyed seeing you with Paul in the Sonnet. That box of stuff looks like more than adequate return on the can of gas you "loaned" him. :-) Nice to see UA-camrs get together.
It looks great mustie1 you did a good job. Probably my most favorite part of watching this whole thing was what you did with the body the way you sand it down and just worked on in the thought process behind it very impressive sir!
Been watching this build, and I'd love to have a VW trike had a 1972 bug that had a 1968 transplant motor in it. I gave it hell in the woods jumping hill's and going through mud hole's I wanted to make it into a Baja bug. You do very nice work, and I like how you got body shining.
great to see it on THREE you are really going to enjoy that trike, I kinda wish I had mine back sometime, once all the little kinks are worked out, Mama won't see you for days............some of the other projects are gonna just have to wait....LOL
Nice tutorial on Bolt Patterns! As a custom wheel dealer it is sometimes very difficult to explain over the phone how to measure the bolt pattern. The cheap plastic bolt pattern disk are Awesome! The trike looks like a Blast to drive!
Darrin you are truely an artist with the use of brass copper and especially coins which is brilliant ! It's too bad that you had to pay $2.00 for a dollar coin. Have you ever used the gold dollar coins ? Yjey would really look awesome ! Thanks for your inspiration
You did not know what wrench was for when in a tight space you can get areas which sort round behind the bit the floppy bit for locking it. It give a bit flexablity.
ua-cam.com/video/0b4tI04AIEw/v-deo.html the drive in the sonett with amesie

Nice bike..
very nice
I'm thinking those wheelie bars are going to get some use.
TheEZGZ yeah and when it goes up 4 feet it comes down real hard
TheEZGZ Maybe put some compression springs inside the two telescoping tubes? For a softer landing on the wheelie bars.
Very nice
Sweet..
I really miss my trike.......sigh

I don't like them Roto-Lugs but sometimes they are handy!
cutworm59 right, at least the trike is light
Trike is a beautiful old funmobile!
brake lights did not work in the last video
I'm looking for an old trike like this one without all the computer stuff that I can fix without spending a fortune.
I rember thoughs from a long time ago
getting to the end. whats next?..........tony
Timetotinker my plugged up septic system, hate when life gets in the way
When you think about it the VW engine and transmission is good for a really nice trike.
Has anyone tried the Fiat 650 sport engine and transmission on a trike?
Lets see the think twice bike go for a run
My profile pic is my custom built VW Trike, named her the Maltese Falcon for obvious reasons.
Whats great about 3 wheels is if you forget to put your feet down.....who cares......kind of like owning a China made Farnicastaff.....who cares
