I think you misunderstood one thing about Pain. He doesn't consider himself a God because he is a megalomanic, but because he owns the powers of the Sage of the Six Paths, which is a god in Naruto's mythology.
Tom Sassi Yeah like pain is a god lol. He can make planets and control. Life and death. Closest thing to a god you can get without actually being a god.
Pain totally has a god complex but he is the closest thing to a god at this point. He is megalomanic but just because he never saw someone with greather power and everyone feeds his believes by comparing him to the rikuudo sennin
Tom Sassi before naruto got granted sage of six paths mode was he a god? Since he was able to use the six paths gate during while naruto try’d to steal chakra from the 9 tails
I think not, Itachi loves everybody around him and his only choice to save his brother that could been killed in war between them and konoha so only one soulution was kill everybody that he love's. Pain lost all his friends but he lost it due to stronger enemy's but not because he must done it all by his own hand. I think Itachi suffered most from all of them... it's all mean nothing compared to his suffer and pain that he just go trough even besides that only person he truly loved was trying to kill him by all cost.
Cahya Yea being praised sure makes up for basically being forced to murder his entire family, then being hated and forced on the run; all the while battling a terminal illness and forcing himself to stay alive so he can be killed by the person he held most dear. But yea a pat on the back makes it all ok, even though he was praised for being good at something he hated doing.
You looked a bit confused when he mentioned the Sage of the Six Paths. As a refresher, he was considered "The Father of Shinobi", since he was the first one to be able to use ninjutsu and all sorts of different abilities. He was regarded as a true god amongst the people, and possessed the Rinnegan. That's why when anyone has it, they are either someone who brings forth great destruction or great stability, like Nagato. That's what Jiraiya's prophecy meant. It's an extremely rare ability.
It is not. Jiraiya mentions it during his backstory when he sees Nagato. Shizune mentions it again when they meet in the Hokage's office about his death.
I know some people bitch about this fight but I personally love it, the art style is so different and chaotic I feel like it just shows how Naruto is seeing and feeling during the whole experience. Plus there are so many epic moments during it. Love it!
Exactly my thoughts, the aggression and pain is felt through the shift in art it’s almost like music when a beat switches or something like that. Plus I imagine all of that is mostly s blur to anyone watching lol
What I disliked about that fight is not the art style, but the fact that it doesn't respect established rules about Pain's power. It was a large plot point that his ability has a 5s cooldown, but now he's using it continuously. It was also established that the Pains aren't extremely resilient to damage, they have tricky abilities, but if you punch one hard enough, it's dead. When Pain is being nailed to the ground without using any defense, it should be it for him. Every fight scene should participate in the storytelling, but this one straight up contradicts the rules of the story. It prevents suspension of disbelief. It's no longer storytelling, it's just stuff happening on screen. Even if it's cool stuff, that's just... meh.

yes they are indeed different mediums but the arguement within the naruto community is that nobody can decide whether the fight was made with good art but bad animation or good animation with bad art. it has been argued amongst the community for many years
What I don't get is why they chose to stylize it NOW? This is one of the most built up fights in the series. They had to have known that doing this would've caused many dissenting opinions.
The most obvious answer would be " They needed to do so " for whatever reason. Maybe they were late on schedule or something, who knows. But if they really did that on purpose... kinda unforgivable then.
I think they just messed up a few frames with Pain's Deva Path. If he wasn't like rubber in those scenes it would've been better. And that's basically it. Those are only complains about this episode. Deva Path looking like an ass. But otherwise they fluid animation is pretty good for a fight.
Some of the best animators in the industry worked on this episode. The animation and the movement is some of the best in anime but the artstyle is different, you either like it or don't - there's no in-between.
This is the best episode in Naruto, in fact all of anime I have ever watched really. Imagine watching this back in 2010 for the first time, I don't have any grasp of animation sense and detail to nitpick little things, I can only see the ambience and intensity of the fight. The animation was done incredibly right to achieve a certain dynamic standards of a fight of that build up. The music chosen is spot on in every scenes. The tensions that are directed at the end was phenomenal followed by that soothing new ending song to end everything.
its been my morning routine to make a coffee and have a smoke while watching the new naruto reaction before work for like 2 months now, forgot how good this series was and curtis has such good reactions haha
Agreed! Truth be told, it's great animation, and the exaggerated faces and motions flow pretty well to give this part of the fight a lot of life and energy. Problem is, the individual frames of any exaggerated animation will never NOT be weird and silly by it's very nature. XD
Can't believe what people are typing in this comment section. It looks terrible. Yes individual frames always usually look bad when you want to potray high speed, but in motion it shouldn't be noticeable for viewer. Here, in this fight, we can clearly see how ridiculous Pain's face is, even in motion. Not to mention the fight was pretty much bullshit. Yahiko tanked so much, flying miles into rocks lmao. Other bodies controlled by Nagato were easily destroyed with rasengans. Hell, that one guy who could absorb chakra got KOed just by senjutsu chakra.
Yes, it is bullshit. There is somewhat of an explanation though. Tendou is the last Pain left, which means 100% of the chakra is funneled into him, making him more durable than the rest of them.
This episode reminded me of the Loney Toones cartoons as it looked kinda similar to the Road Runner vs Coyote. The main issue with the animation on this episode was due to the fact that there was a Naruto Shippuden Movie coming up at the same week. So the staff had issues scheduling the deadline for this episode since they were so focused on releasing the movie. Regardless of that though, the ending was a really touching moment when Minato appeared in front of Naruto.
And that's the issue. Looney Tunes animation is not ugly, but that's totally out of character. This should be an extremely serious fight scene. Pain should never remind you of Coyote, that pulls you right out of the story...
It's kind of an unspoken testament on how much hinata means to Naruto. Out of all the people pain killed, she was the one that triggered his transformation
The original name is shinra tensei (神羅天征) Heavenly Subjugation of God. If we use the english name you are right but Nagato has a god complex, it's not like he is thinking logically anymore...
@@j.ackermann9110 Nagato doesn't have a god complex. He is a god or so he was lead to believe. People believed that since he had the same eyes as the sage of the six paths (who IS a god in naruto mythology) that he was his reincarnation and therefore a god. Also if you look at his powers compared to anyone else up to that point and even after he's pretty much god like. Also he refers to himself as "just an ordinary man" when talking to Naruto so he clearly doesn't think of himself as a god. It appears more to be a facade and i'm pretty sure he didn't actually choose the name of the technique (Almighty push) since he didn't invent it himself.
It depends on the definition of a god complex. If everyone made him believe he is a god, I would call that a god complex. It's not clear who gave the technique the name but Nagato has never talked to anyone who knew the name so I assume he came up with it. In reality it was just Kishi trying to come up with a cool name. I don't think it's that important...
The animation of this episode is objectively really good actually. It's just a different style of animation. One that requires less detail and more exageratedc "stretch and stretch" (an important fundamental for all animation) for faster, more fluid animation.
People don’t know what animation is. This is great animation and I saw what the animator was going for... real facial features that actually show when going really really fast. As well as how loose his work is which I love. Some people just don’t know how great the animation is.
Or some people just think they know what animation is. This fight looks like shit, especially the infamous "My pain is still far greater than yours" scene. This hardly looks like the same show. The animator's attempt to make this fight look like it's on a far greater scale than previous fights ended up making it a joke. And that's disregarding how Tendo/Deva Pain is surviving and even shaking off hits that are stronger than anything the other Pains were killed by, be it Rasengans to the chest/back or an above average punch. Not only did this fight look bad, but it made little sense. If you want a good high-speed battle, look at Sasuke vs. Orochimaru (Forest of Death). Oro was dashing around at absurd speeds, yet he didn't end up looking like he a gelatin or slime-composed creature from a different show.
Denzel Rozier well in real life. If u were to go at high speed, you would look like a gelatine. Also the fight was based off of the manga and also this is anime. it always goes out of its way to not follow the law of physics.
I believe the style of animation is a red herring. Many people disliked that episode and blamed said dislike on the animation style mistakenly, but I think the true reason is more subtle. The issue is with suspension of disbelief. You are pulled right out of the story when what happens on screen contradicts established rules. It was a large plot point that his ability has a 5s cooldown, but now he's using it continuously. Why? No reason. It was also established that the Pains aren't especially resilient to damage, they have tricky abilities, but if you punch one hard enough, it's dead. When Pain is being nailed to the ground without defending himself, it should be it for him, but it isn't. Why? No reason. Every fight scene should participate in the storytelling, but this one straight up contradicts the rules of the story. It prevents suspension of disbelief. It's no longer storytelling, it's just stuff happening on screen. Even if it's cool stuff, that's just... meh. Think about another very epic battle. Shikamaru vs Temari. That's the opposite. It's not like people really enjoyed the animation of that fight, because... well, there wasn't much of it at all. But people really enjoyed that fight, because every element was within the story rules and using them. It was great character building moments. A great fight scene is not about the visuals. Though there is indeed an issue with the visuals here, but that's not that they are ugly. Personally, I enjoy watching a Looney Tunes cartoon. Willy Coyote is a character I like and I enjoy the art style when he's depicted. But Pain should not remind me of Willy Coyote, that's not the right tone... This animation style is not necessarily ugly, but it is out of character. So far, Pain had hardly been animated at all. A great emphasis on the design and still shots, but not that much motion. He's shown to be always calm, collected and expressionless. After all, we are only seeing the faces of corpses. Over the top facial expressions are out of character, too.
Some information for you about this episode Curtis and everyone else. This episode was storyboarded by Atsushi Wakabayashi. One of the best freelance animators around. He also did episode 30 Sasuke vs Orochimaru, episode 71 Hiruzen vs Orochimaru/Hokages and episode 133 Naruto vs Sasuke. Easily some of the best in the series. His storyboards can take almost up to 6 months to make. And he always brings in a lot of key animators for his episodes too he is friends with. This episode was also the most expensive episode in all of Naruto. People will complain about the animation, but that's only because they don't know what they're talking about. He gave all the animators a lot of freedom to express themselves with the episode. There were a couple kind of sloppy moments, but those only lasted a few seconds. They did an amazing job with this fight that went beyond what Kishimoto did in the manga.
Here’s Papa Minato! Definitely just in time, with each tail Naruto gets more consumed by the Nine Tails - as you can see with his body gradually turning into the Nine Tails. It’s quite telling that Hinata’s supposed death made him go immediately into Four Tails - which needed gradual transformation against Orochimaru - all the way to Eight Everyone likes the Whack a Mole moment though. Helpful that Pain is just a corpse right now or else that might’ve stung. Poor necklace though, that was an heirloom from the First Hokage! Planetary Devastation, Chibaku Tensei, the Deva Path’s ultimate move, basically trapping the beast into a moon-like orb. But the Fourth Hokage returns, to make sure Naruto doesn’t undo the sealing he created
Yeah, I think Curtis still don't understand that the nine tails transformation does a lot of damage to Naruto and if he went full 9 tails he would be pretty much dead, he'd lost all his sanity at least. And Minato sealed his own soul inside Naruto and set to show up when Naruto come close to become the nine tails, that's why Orochimaru couldn't reanimate him during his battle against the third hokage.
It's not bad ANIMATION, but it was incredibly inconsistent from the show and fails as an adaption of the manga content. Suddenly fox can shoot lasers, looks like a The Simpsons/Looney Tunes crossover, Pain is immensely more resilient, strong, and his ability is vastly different? Almost the whole episode is just empty space because whatever the fuck that was, wasn't a Naruto episode.
OnAChairSitting if you froze them “in real life” they’d probably seem like balls. Think bullet tracers in games that tries to convey speed. I like them.
The animation was stylized rather than bad animation. This is done to make the fight more fluid while at the same time speed up the animation process since the studio was currently working on a Naruto movie. I recommend watching Gigguk video on it. ua-cam.com/video/3uMlIg9gVdY/v-deo.html
The art style for this fight is incredible. So fluid and unique considering past animation styles. Makes this fight so much better with something different.
People say that the art in these episodes are bad but that is not true. The animation is actually just exaggerated in the "motion frames" (the frames where there is movement), but that is not really a bad thing. In animation, the "motion frames" are supposed to be exaggerated in order to make the animation for example "feel more alive". And you're only supposed to see those frames short periods of time.
Personally I don't think it's bad animation because it's really not. I remember hearing a while back they actually got someone really good to animate this episode. I don't think it's bad at all I think it's more of an artistic style to have a flowy and rubbery style to it to make the battle more smooth. People just say it's bad because of the one seen with pain but if you really analyze it, it's not at all. The people that say it's bad don't know what they're talking about honestly. The way that color is used in it, the flow, the removal of black lines, even the cinematography in it is great.
It's so great so see someone older (please no offense) to get into the anime so much, I just discovered this channel and it's hilarious so see the reactions!
I personally like the animation of this fight, it really shows how intense they're fighting each other. Yeah the stretching's a bit goofy, but I kinda like it for how great the action parts are in it.
It's no longer storytelling, it's just stuff happening on screen. Even if it's cool stuff, that's just... meh.
I would say his goal was not so much to force people to be peaceful through fear or threat of annihilation, but rather his belief is that people can only truly understand each other when they have experienced the same pain, and that true understanding is the only path to peace. So he wants to inflict such a great pain on the world that it allows people to achieve this understanding and therefore to peace. Not exactly the same as MAD. At least, that was always my interpretation of what he was trying to achieve. Still fucked up in its own right, but that's my understanding of Pain.
I think the animation wasn't objectivly bad, certainly it required a lot of effort, but I just don't like the style and directing. Too much squash and stretch it felt like I was watching two bouncy balls fighting.
I cant tell you how many times I have watched these scenes. It gets me every single time his dad shows. This is my second favorite scene in the entire anime only second to the scene with Naruto and Iruka at the end of the series (Wont mention the exact scene due to spoilers but for those who have seen it, the bridge scene)
I personally liked the animation & artstyle of this episode. It shows how insane their powers are... Two superhumans clash together so hard that even physics won't work anymore the way it's supposed to work.
I love how different his transformation is in this episode. Every fox transformation until now has been him gradually losing control and gradually growing more tails but he had learned some control and was trying not to rely on the Fox's power. Having his three masters killed didn't grow any tails, having his village destroyed didn't do it--Hinata's death did. And he EXPLODED immediately into 4 tails and grew even more from there.
I personally love the animation and art style used in this fight, the animation is sooooo smooth and fantastic, and the art style is so styled and sexy. i love the distortions in pains face in some points, it shows the force and emotion behind what he's doing. but to be fair, i can see why people who don't have an artistic eye wouldn't like it.
I love next episode. I really do. Kishimoto became a father around the time he wrote this I believe (don’t quote me on that) but he can write really great emotional scenes when he puts his whole heart into it. Hype as hell
I’m sorry I’m commenting so much but I like when neji says hokage is not something you can just become your born into it and now naruto can be like neji I was born into it
I can't find any way to re-confirm this, so take it with a grain of salt since it's been a while. FUN FACT: Originally, Minato (Naruto's dad/ 4th Hokage) was never supposed to meet Naruto. Kishimoto was writing this part of the series while he had his first child. Having the new perspective of a parent himself, he wanted Naruto to have the gift of knowing his parents, so this interaction with Minato was put in for him.
Interesting. Do you think him having his child wad a factor in why the war arc was not up to par and is considered the worst arc. Not trying tk blame but just want you're opinion.
Hey Curt!! just to let you know I love your vids and you should ignore the pesky fanboys and keep being you! your channel is my absolute fav right now, it would personally sadden me if you didn't upload anymore. much love
I know people sorta hate the change in Animation for their fight but I’m pretty sure everyone forgets that when this episode came out, they were working in a makeshift facility since there’s was destroyed by the Tsunami a couple days before. The fact they came out and still worked on these episodes is amazing.
Jeeesus, i remember after watching through all of the first series as a kid, i was like 16 when this arc came out and holy shit, naruto with the red eyes and all black, and with the music. It was devastating to think that to save the world from (what i thought to be the series final bad guy) that naruto would end up giving in to the demon to destroy someone and save his village and the whole world, only to go on being shunend and hated by everyone growing up that he would end up completely misunderstood like itachi. or that maybe that would have changed sasuke. the feels though omg i was shook
People tend to rag on this fight for the animation, which is fair, but I don't think it was bad, it was extremely loose. When done right, that kind of animation works really well, take Naoki Tate for example. His style is always incredibly loose and it works to exaggerate movement and expression. Here, they went a little too loose on the animation, to the point where the characters end up completely off model, and looking a little goofy. It's not necessarily bad, just overly ambitious in my opinion. That being said, I prefer a few goofy looking scenes due to a looser style as apposed to the more rigid approach Naruto usually takes.
Naruto: oh hi dad, thanks for waiting until after I became a 100-foot nightmare from hell to step in like that. not when I fought Orochimaru, not when I almost took sakuras arm off with a casual flick or any of the other times I've freaked out or even just to help with my traumatic childhood of growing up feared and hated because of what you put in me. THANKS DAD
I remember the first time watching these episodes the twist when Naruto transformed it was like "whoa!", then when Minato showed up outta nowhere it was like "OHHHHHHHHH YEAH!"
The most resilient character in the series coming that close to giving in when the Nine Tails tempted him was honestly the most hopeless I've ever felt watching an anime or any TV series for that matter and Naruto is still the reason that I've actually started to understand the attachment people can develop to fictional characters. The pit in my stomach was so deep thinking he was going to succumb to his pain but the Minato appearance was done in true Naruto plot-twist fashion lol
God, I get chills whenever Captain Draconian sees '9 tails' on his palm. He KNOWS the worst case scenario is happening, and all he can do is imagine what caused it and the damage it's already done.
While parts of this episode *are* poorly done... some of it feels perfect. It looks chaotic and not humanly possible, and what better look can you want than that for the unleashing of the Kyuubi's true power against a man with the power of a "god"?
Am I the only one who gets chills at the start of the ending music through the rest of the episode? Ive seen that scene probably 20 times, and I get chills even still. Naruto has excellent music, I think this track is my favorite though.

Is FAAAARRRRR GREAATTEERRR THANNN YOUUURRSSSS!!!!!!!!!!
Im afraid you've been outranked dan. The almighty popo has commented before you.
Siddhant Maithani still he will get more likes than him
Dan oh hello again XD
When you come 2nd in fortnite
MY pain is OVER 9,000!!!!!!
I will never forget this episode because of the animation DAMMIT
#PUSHCESARO I won't cause of the epicness.
MH3UME3MP it was very fluid this is plenty enough for a fight of this level
MH3UME3MP but is still a great fight tho one of the best if not the best
Which part of this is "epic" ?
#PUSHCESARO agree. And the OST are so epic
Out of all the people pain killed, she was the one that triggered his transformation
almighty popo nah it’s not that it’s everyone combined but the last one got to him
almighty popo well he did kill her on front of her

MY ANIMATION QUALITY IS STILL FAR GREATER THAN YOURRRRRRRRRRRSS
Degis Johnson Lol
Tell that to Itachi.
Merciless Freak Oof
The quality of the animation was good, the stylized exaggeration was a bit much.
The amount of times i have refreshed for this.
MonoDoidoKuma true story
Is faaaarrr greeeeeater thaaaan youuurs
MonoDoidoKuma same
When a move called "almighty push" is pushed back, doesn't it cease to be almighty and thus is just "push"
I don't think it's that important...
lol, this entire reaction was curtis saying "um pain, i don't think this is a very good idea"
This episode was fucking awesome despite the animation everybody seems so adamant to complain about.
D C i don't get why people don't like the fluent animation i think it's awesome
The animation of this episode is objectively really good actually. It's just a different style of animation. One that requires less detail and more exageratedc "stretch and stretch" (an important fundamental for all animation) for faster, more fluid animation.
I don't think you understand what "objectively" means.
Good for a looney tunes episode, not what I want from an anime that was generally consistent in animation throughout.
Thats naruto they put the animation in sasuke and naruto fight its made it more epic but it still better animation than one piece
Pain: "My face...IS MORE RUBBER THAN YOOOURRRSS!!"
xD
Nagato: "My pain is far greater than yours!"
Curtis: "Go tell that to Itachi."
I literally fell off my chair laughing.
Bruh there is reason why nagato is called pain and not itachi
@@Crimebot02 pain shouldve just killed himself tbh
@@Crimebot02 Cuz he’s a whiny ass
I love how pumped you get about anime. I always feel like I'm the only adult that enjoys this stuff
This is a reaction channel I can get behind. Good, genuine reactions and he provides links to support the original work. You just earned a sub sir
Here’s Papa Minato!
Definitely just in time, with each tail Naruto gets more consumed by the Nine Tails - as you can see with his body gradually turning into the Nine Tails. It’s quite telling that Hinata’s supposed death made him go immediately into Four Tails - which needed gradual transformation against Orochimaru - all the way to Eight
Everyone likes the Whack a Mole moment though.
But the Fourth Hokage returns, to make sure Naruto doesn’t undo the sealing he created
nope pretty sure it was that hes there to re-apply the seal
jugernaut190 undoing the damage Naruto caused to the seal
Yeah, I think Curtis still don't understand that the nine tails transformation does a lot of damage to Naruto and if he went full 9 tails he would be pretty much dead, he'd lost all his sanity at least. And Minato sealed his own soul inside Naruto and set to show up when Naruto come close to become the nine tails, that's why Orochimaru couldn't reanimate him during his battle against the third hokage.
if he went full 9 he would not have returned he would have turned into the nine tails
This was so good I was waiting for Curtis to react to this ever since the start
Curtis: Itachi has the most pain.
Nagato: Konan hold my rod.
I loved the art style in this episode, made the fast paced movement more epic as it gave a feel of quickness with the fast drawn style.
Phenomenal episode for a phenomenal fight for a phenomenal emotion 😭😭😭
kazbakez it did have some epic moments, don't know why but a highlight for me was the captains reaction while naruto is transforming..
Gazz 1 maybe the most biggest fight in terms of power and speed at this point
@Anyone calling this bad animation. pls go to the channel AnimeAjay and check out his video called "What is BAD animation"
Yea I'm glad he made that video so more people understand the difference. This animation is fire, the art just sucks.
@Mark Stein Kurama has never done it in the manga though. And definitely not in the manga version of this particular fight.
TN good animation of bad art work.
My favorite part in this entire episode is when yamato looked at his hand and said "how could this of happened" I get goose bumps every time.
Canadian sport_fan underrated moment imo. It puts into perspective of how scared and disappointed Yamato was that he couldn’t stop it.
The art style for this fight is incredible. So fluid and unique considering past animation styles. Makes this fight so much better with something different.
"My pain is far greater than yours"
"Yeah yeah... Tell that to Itachi"
*SO FUCKING TRUE*
People say that the art in these episodes are bad but that is not true. The animation is actually just exaggerated in the "motion frames" (the frames where there is movement), but that is not really a bad thing. In animation, the "motion frames" are supposed to be exaggerated in order to make the animation for example "feel more alive". And you're only supposed to see those frames short periods of time.
Ooohhh mang another great one ☝️ yo! Your excitement is soooo refreshing
I step on a lego piece this morning, the pain that i endure... No one's pain is greater thn mine!!
It's so great so see someone older (please no offense) to get into the anime so much, I just discovered this channel and it's hilarious so see the reactions!
wow been some years since I first watched this fight. glad tomsee that you enjoyed it too curtis.
I personally like the animation of this fight, it really shows how intense they're fighting each other. Yeah the stretching's a bit goofy, but I kinda like it for how great the action parts are in it.
It's obviously an extremely stylized form of animation. But it's style is very good for action, not so much for up close shots.
Even if it's cool stuff, that's just... meh.
The music by the end is so dramatic... what an epic moment..
Love seeing someone else’s reactions to these situations man !!
NARUTO TOOK PAIN KILLERS! TYLENOL! DESTROYING THE RINNEGAN SINCE TYLENOL WAS CREATED
minato showing up is what truly hooked me on this series when I was a kid
I think the animation wasn't objectivly bad, certainly it required a lot of effort, but I just don't like the style and directing. Too much squash and stretch it felt like I was watching two bouncy balls fighting.
Animation was really good, looney tunes artstyle wasn't really fitting though...
To me it's just amazing.
well, it kinda still would cause anime doesn't look like this 99/100 times :P
The animation is just bad. It's like DBS episode 5
+Lucas Franke elaborate?
I cant tell you how many times I have watched these scenes. It gets me every single time his dad shows. This is my second favorite scene in the entire anime only second to the scene with Naruto and Iruka at the end of the series (Wont mention the exact scene due to spoilers but for those who have seen it, the bridge scene)
the talking about peace is just like the idea of being perfect. just because we all know we will never be perfect does not mean we should stop trying
this was an amazing fight, the animation is a bit odd, but still pretty damn good, i love his transformation into the nine tails
ZEADPOOL1991

I personally liked the animation & artstyle of this episode. It shows how insane their powers are... Two superhumans clash together so hard that even physics won't work anymore the way it's supposed to work.
That scene at the end always gives me chills
The action plus the music makes this one of the best and most intense episodes of the series, regardless of the art and animation.
That moment when he crushed the necklace was so goddamn ominous, like there was nothing stopping him now
Love the daily uploads :) thx dude
This guys knows his stuff... respect
Favorite fight in the series. Favorite animation in the series. For real, this animation style is super sick.
I've been waiting for him to get to this episode for over a year
I love how different his transformation is in this episode. Every fox transformation until now has been him gradually losing control and gradually growing more tails but he had learned some control and was trying not to rely on the Fox's power. Having his three masters killed didn't grow any tails, having his village destroyed didn't do it--Hinata's death did. And he EXPLODED
immediately into 4 tails and grew even more from there.
Curtis, always making my day better! :D
To be honest, when I watched this fight for the first time, I was rooting for Naruto to undo the seal. I mean, can you blame him?
Alex Tu He would've killed himself if he did that...
Its not like death means anything if rinnegan are around... And everyone wanted to see full Kyuubi
I enjoy watching you react and comment on animes. Keep up the good work! Happy new year, you just got a sub.
Thats true, Kishi stated this in an interview.
Interesting. Do you think him having his child wad a factor in why the war arc was not up to par and is considered the worst arc. Not trying tk blame but just want you're opinion.
You always get choked up over daddies and sons.
I just love Minato. That was the best entrance ever
Hey Curt!! just to let you know I love your vids and you should ignore the pesky fanboys and keep being you! your channel is my absolute fav right now, it would personally sadden me if you didn't upload anymore. much love
It’s a little sad that some videos are blocked in my country... 😢
all that power unleashed by removing some paper
This is probably one of the most emotional scenes for me in all of Naruto. When he's about to give up and take off the nine tails seal.
The line delivery of
"Lord Fourth...Hokage."
Is fucking flawless, gives me chills everytime.
THANKS DAD
"you might not be able to all mighty push him around"
HOW DOES HE DO IT!?
I feel like one of the few people who like this art style
I remember the first time watching these episodes the twist when Naruto transformed it was like "whoa!", then when Minato showed up outta nowhere it was like "OHHHHHHHHH YEAH!"
Captain Yamato’s reaction was emotional for me lol
I get tears in my eye every time I see naruto meet his father. I hope you do too!
Pain: “My pain is still far greater than yours”
You: “Tell that to Itachi.”
😂😂
I hope my man Curtis made the connection that Naruto is the son of the Fourth Hokage.
It will be stated next episode anyway but I think its obvious
God, I get chills whenever Captain Draconian sees '9 tails' on his palm. He KNOWS the worst case scenario is happening, and all he can do is imagine what caused it and the damage it's already done.
this is the 3rd times i came here.. i dont know why youtube keep telling me to watch it over and over again, but.. i like it.
chibaku tensei!!!!
Damn.. great reaction and i still tear up at that ending😢
While parts of this episode *are* poorly done... some of it feels perfect. It looks chaotic and not humanly possible, and what better look can you want than that for the unleashing of the Kyuubi's true power against a man with the power of a "god"?
Finally...it's time for Rubber Pain face! I've been waiting for this moment for so long! After all, his pain IS far greater than ours, you know. XD
Am I the only one who gets chills at the start of the ending music through the rest of the episode? Ive seen that scene probably 20 times, and I get chills even still. Naruto has excellent music, I think this track is my favorite though.
I loved when he said my pain is far greater than yours Curtis reaction tell that to itachi lol so true.
Time for some dad talk? can't wait.
So in my notifications I have someone doing a reaction to your reaction. REACTIONCEPTION!!!!!!!
