Hey Jetpens, can you please use highly engineered or cleverly engineered or complex or advanced to describe these awesome products instead of "overengineered"? Overengineered is a negative meaning. It's basically saying these products are not desirable. It's so not true!! These are amazing products and much desirable. Thanks!
It'd be cool to see a video series that's a counterpart to the Overengineered series, focusing on items that are simpler but very high quality. I often find myself more interested in those items than items with unique features that don't really benefit me personally.
I know you highlighted the Tombow Monograph Pencil, but I have to say the Tombow Monograph Pens are the bee's knees! I buy a random assortment of pens and pencils from you guys and gals every once in a while, but once I tried that pen...holy moly. I went right back to your site and stocked up on a ton of each available ink color. Since then, that's all I write with! Even in scenarios where it would be nice to have an erasable medium, I risk it and YOLO with a pen just because it writes so darn well!
THE BEST mechanical pencil has ALLWAYS been the rOtring 500. I have been drawing with that pencil for amost 3 decades at this point. Made of metal and extremely nice!!
Had a look at it ... looks real good .... ordered one + refills for myself. Thanks for the lead !! ( From "Cult Pens" ) Seems you cannot order from "FC" site directly ????
I was Literally Waiting for this 😢 Video !! But I Forgot to watch this...Now Watched it !! I wanna to say Thanks 🙂☺️👍 To Jetpens !! For all The Precious Info ! Keep Going 🤗 Jetpens ! We are with You..Hope you reach millions of subs in your Journey!
engineering is my favorite thing in the world. this is so fucking creative, expressive, and beautiful. im gonna go to college for engineering and industrial design one day.
Not sure if it is your area of expertise, but I am looking for a way to organize a LARGE number of alcohol markers, fine liners, PITT markers etc. I want them stored horizontally since especially the alcohol markers need this in order to prevent one of the tips from drying out. Any ideas?
I don't know why you don't see the dual knock more often. I have an old Pentel Technica-X PW45 from the early-mid 2000's that has a dual knock & it was such a good pencil to keep in your pocket at work since it would never poke into you when you sat down.
As always, it's super overengineered, but since I'm already on board with "the system," these are all just genius solutions to problems of my own causing
I'm not really a fan of the metacil, I don't like the feel of the writing with it... but if you are, have you seen the Troika pencil? It doubles as a ruler. I want the uni metal case, I wish it came with the 0.3 2H leads I use. (the smudge proof leads exist, but only in plastic packs.)
The metacil always looked so cool! But I don’t like the soft grade.. alas, it is quite cool 😂 also, I’m pretty sad the Tombow mono graph promo ended, I was one day too late 😢
There are definitely high quality pencils out there without a knurled grip! For example, the Pilot S30: www.jetpens.com/Pilot-S30-Drafting-Pencils/ct/6408
weird that "lead" is even used anymore by anyone - it's been graphite and clay since before our grandparent's grandparents were alive... and i know everyone here knows it's graphite - but still... if a duck is a duck you wouldn't call it a fish. perhaps i'm way too literal... but i see no reason to keep using lead if it's, not lead...?
at the end of this timestamp i thought you said a certain slur against japanese people! holy shit. JET pens. not j** pens. i did the real life equivalent of a natural 1
Overengineered...or genius? Let us know in the comments! Never thought we would call a hamster-shaped item overengineered.
Ingenuity. Simple yet elegant!

What does "overengineered" mean?
@@comradestannisto have unnecessary features and because of that - (usually) overpriced
@@Datscrazi231 Thank you.
The drawing at 0:46 is absolutely adorable. Whoever did that, I love their style, it has this really sweet softness to it
It'd be cool to see a video series that's a counterpart to the Overengineered series, focusing on items that are simpler but very high quality. I often find myself more interested in those items than items with unique features that don't really benefit me personally.
As a lefty, smudge-proof lead is magical.
I don't know how you peeps at JetPens have any money left at the end of the month... Hope that employee discount is deep! 🤣 Loved them all, thanks!
y’all keep making me covet new stationery while i’m desperately trying to use what i already have 😭
Me too! I'm up to my neck in amazing stationary! I can't take it anymore 😭!

This Tombow Zoom I got easily became my favorite pencil, so I gotta try their pens.
The last one 5:15 is very very nice and tempting to own
I should be sleeping but I'm watching a video about pencils
no facts and now the pull to buy some is nearly overpowering
How the hell did you know that I'm doing same 😅😂
Lol its 2 am for me as well 😂😂

The zirconium tactile turn mechanical pencil costs $299. My God
Overengineering for your overbudgeteering.
Loved every one of them! Love fun tools. Makes working enjoyable especially when the functionality is superb.
THE BEST mechanical pencil has ALLWAYS been the rOtring 500.
I have been drawing with that pencil for amost 3 decades at this point. Made of metal and extremely nice!!
Been using Faber Castel grip matic for years. It has auto lead advancement also with eraser
Had a look at it ... looks real good .... ordered one + refills for myself. Thanks for the lead !! ( From "Cult Pens" ) Seems you cannot order from "FC" site directly ????
locking eraser is a gd-send and every pencil should have one
YEA MORE COMPLEX GRAPHITE STICKS🎉!🎉!🎉🎉!🎉!🎉!🎉
lol 😂
Definitely GENIUS!
Imagine using all such costly stationary in your exams only to fail in them 😂😂😂😂😂
Imagine all the resources your parent gave you, just for you to fail them

SWEET! More overengineered pens!
That Tombow pencil is excellent. I use it over my Dive and Pro Gear. The grip is just excellent and it has perfect balance.
I was so sad that tombow dustcatch eraser is no longer made, but now I am okay because instead of it, I can buy ain white duststicking eraser!

All these new products are so RAD!
Amazing items.. I want them alllllll.. 😊
I've definitely got to try some of these out 🤩
I am A Stationery enthusiast ! I love pencils so much 🎉
This company (Mitsubishi is the owner of the Uni brand) has purchased Lamy!
What?! 😮
Wow. That's a big deal
I don't know why you don't see the dual knock more often. I have an old Pentel Technica-X PW45 from the early-mid 2000's that has a dual knock & it was such a good pencil to keep in your pocket at work since it would never poke into you when you sat down.
I need that Tombow mono light pencil and that uni lead refill metal case!
This is such a satisfying video to watch ☺☺
Thanks for the informative review.
I am sorry if I missed it in the video but how does the sound leakage compare with original in quiet room.
I’m wondering… just asking, why did you stop selling the Sunstar Delide Slide? You guys heavly promoted it. Why is it gone?
We're working on bringing them back!
Nice!
I love how these came out 2 days after I make an order here
As always, it's super overengineered, but since I'm already on board with "the system," these are all just genius solutions to problems of my own causing
AWESOME 😎👍
Good stuff. I want one; of each… .🧑🎨♾️🤘
How am i just learning about smudge proof pencil lead...?
These are so freaking cool! 🤩
Justo a dream!!! All the ítem have beautiful design 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Sunstar in B would be great!
Loved the sticking eraser!
I wish the auto extending led pencil had the kuru toga system in it or something like that
Awesome product but I wish the lead for the metacil came in an H or HB variant instead of 2H
It’s too light to use all the time
I'm not really a fan of the metacil, I don't like the feel of the writing with it... but if you are, have you seen the Troika pencil? It doubles as a ruler.
I want the uni metal case, I wish it came with the 0.3 2H leads I use. (the smudge proof leads exist, but only in plastic packs.)
So you get the metal case, give someone the lead that comes in it and then use it for your lead. 😊
Darn it, I wish I needed to use pencils more often! (like I don't already have 6-8) 😁
Take all my money Jetpens 💸💸💸
Will you be available in India
What's your opinion on inkless pens? And are there any that you would recommend?
The TuL mechanical pencil from Office Depot is enough.
The metacil always looked so cool! But I don’t like the soft grade.. alas, it is quite cool 😂 also, I’m pretty sad the Tombow mono graph promo ended, I was one day too late 😢
The Sakura Writoll looks almost identical to the long discontinued Staedtler Retro in form and function.
0.7 HB for life!
For no.3 what about the faber castell grip matic? It's cheap too
Reall all very nice >>>>>> Thank you .
This one of the few review channels I really like.
watching this when I'm already graduated.
Holy shit, I’m surprised to see an American company in here, I know the Tactile Turn guys

“Sell me this pen” ahh video
Can you please make a video about environmentally friendly stationary? x
My credit card swiped itself 😮
Wow🎉
Video vibes 🥰
Damn. I would have really liked that Sakura Writoll if it came in 0.7 lead
I want a high-quality metal mechanical pencil that doesn't have the knurled grip. Why do they make pencils with such an uncomfortable grip?
There are definitely high quality pencils out there without a knurled grip! For example, the Pilot S30: www.jetpens.com/Pilot-S30-Drafting-Pencils/ct/6408
I want the sunstar nocfree
"Is it a little much?" NO! Absolutely not!

I have a problem, i always buy things even though I don't have money 😭😭😭
that metal lead holder is the exact kind of dumb shit i want

how much "scratchy" is that

What about a keyboard lol
Plastic doesn’t sit behind my ear right.
I watched some of your videos. its either you lied or you decided to leave out more of cuz you did not know it existed. it confused me

Sakura is waste here also
Forever pen is not so forever. It will lose its tip very fast and then it's no longer a pen but a crayon and a shitty one at that.
You can get replacement tips!
@@JetPens which kind of defeats the whole "forever" part. :) But yeah, I know tips can be replaced.
at the end of this timestamp i thought you said a certain slur against japanese people! holy shit. JET pens. not j** pens. i did the real life equivalent of a natural 1
tough truth: none of these will make you a better writer or artist, or make writing any easier.
