Yes, for the price, and what you get, i think they are. But it might not be for everybody. I always say, only get a library when it makes total sense, no matter what others say.
@@SecondTierSound sure, as a former violin player i can hear it :) i thought to myself lately „the world don’t need another string library” well i was probably wrong 😆
Thank you for the video. About the spike issue, I have a fairy only MacBook Pro. Can you kindly let us know something about your system's capability (CPU specs & RAM, in particular), so that I can have a sense of how this library would perform on my system?
Yes, Ben told me that you can change the samples in kontakt to not be HD. More or less. I forgot exactly how, but if you search for it you will find it. Sorry to not be more specific but that is the solution. Ben might have updated the download too.
Thanks for the review, Sam. It sounds interesting. Not sure I would buy it, but I've heard how good Ben Osterhouse's libraries are.

Wonderful review. I have it and love the library.
Cheers! Yes, it is really nice
This sounds really nice, worth considering :)
Yes, it has a quality I haven't seen elsewhere, even though the library has quite a specific use

I think Ben changed this. He told me how to update the samples in kontakt byt removing the HD option.
Very good review; I am appreciating your channel more and more! Anyone know if the spiking problem has been solved in an update since this review?

@@SecondTierSound and maybe increase buffer size in Kontakt? Seems to me, that might help spare cpu?
Perhaps😊
