Thanks nick. If you ever get the chance get one it's a great little boat and very easy to launch. Was good chatting to you on smashes live was nice to meet you virtually lol
@@Nicknofish thats no problem at all. I very rarely miss comments. That is a, shame. I have fished the Bristol channel a few times now there's vidios on the channel had some amazing days
It did sloth. Im not sure the shape of the boat makes it very difficult to find somthing to suit. I would have to have them made ans it would be very expensive
hi was wondering if you could help me a i got my potting permit but im finding this confusing The Permit applies to that part of Welsh Waters that lies within the 6nm fishery limit to the northeast of a line drawn true northwest from the extremity of Cemaes Head in the County of Ceredigion. dose this mean i cant use pots say off of aberporth ????
@CaptainJacksFishingShack can you apply for both areas? I will be honest I'm not fully clued up on it but I applied for my area and it is boxes so my assumption is it's only that area
The video keeps freezing probably because you are using a GoPro, it's a known problem that the brand does not want to sort it. There are other options on the market like the DJI Osmo and insta 360 Ace pro that record good quality videos and won't crash like GoPro
Yes your are right it's the gopro 8 but they are old and battered they have been heavily used for over 3 years. I have literally just bought a new gopro 12 due to these freezing issue. Hopefully it's a thing of the past now
@@C3BFA No, it's not a thing of the past, and the new ones do that as well. Unfortunately, GoPro is not willing to address these issues. On the new 12, they had to remove the GPS on the camera to alleviate the issue, but it's still there
Looks a really good hull. These little boats based on traditional lines do exactly what they should.
Definitely it's a great sea boat ans handles it great also very stable for a small boat
Nice to see you out again Dave. Hopefully a lot more fishing especially Tope
Thanks brian. I still haven't used those rigs I can't wait to test them
Good to see your out again.
Thank you John
Nice one dave, good to see ya out. All the best from G.Y
Thanks Carl
She handled that sloppy sea well Dave.
She did Thomas I was impressed myself. I wouldn't push it much more than that tho it wasn't enjoyable
Always wanted a cobble. Proper boat. Cheers and tight lines.

@C3BFA thanks for the reply. Past my sell by date now but had great times in my 15-foot dinghy fishing the Bristol Channel. Cheers and tight lines.

@C3BFA cheers. Tide and time wait for no man as they say. Tight lines.

Great to see you back out and making videos
It feels great Lee. I may of just bought a brand new camera 😁😁
@@C3BFA very nice Dave
It should massively improve footage ans no more freezing up

Good Vid Dave, be good to see how things develop as you head into summer 👌🏼
If you don't catch any lobsters, at least you'll have arms like Popeye.
Thanks Al, lobster will show up soon.
Good to see you out doing what you love mate 👍
It feels good mark and thank you. I habe just bought a new camera so hopefully that will massively improve the footage going forward
Nice one Dave bud!
Thanks casters
That will give you a workout legs and arms. You Might want to consider some gunnel protection. 😄👍
Definitely troy.
For gunnel protection I was no really sure what to use because they are rectangular shape gunnels. Do you have any ideas?
@@C3BFA I always use 4" drain pipe
@@Trojwaterman I did think of that but not sure it would work on these gunnels
@@C3BFA It works on the Orkney gunnels they are pretty big
@Trojwaterman I will give it a try troy thank you for the input I appreciate it

Yes I believe your right it's in the area you applied for Jack.
If they where found in an area and not registered the fisheries would remove the pots
