Приєднався 19 чер 2020
Hello and welcome to Cardigan Bay Fishing Adventures, my name is David Barber. We Fish Cardigan Bay, and St Georges, channel and also the Celtic deeps off the West Coast of Wales. We will target all species on this adventure, from small fish to big, we will also be targeting sharks. Fishing will be from the boats and as the winter draws in we will hit the shores with beach gear and target everything especially codling. I also do rig and baiting up tutorials, boat building and outboard engine work and on top of all that there is catch and cooks. and more. I Hope you enjoy watching the channel. Thanks Dave
Is this one of best bass fishing location in the UK ? fishing Cardigan bay West Wales
In this video I head up to a rocky beach and try to find a few bass in the weedy rocky ground laden with bed rock and gullies. This film was recorded a few months ago but, due to no fish being caught I wasn't going to share it. I put a lot of effort into the editing so I thought I may aswel share it with you all. I hope you find the tips helpful and I also hope you enjoy this style of video.
Thanks Dave

Wreck & Shark fishing in Cardigan bay 30+ nautical miles out

This was a very much needed trip out fishing with mark Roberts my old mate on his merry fisher 625. We left Cardigan at 06:30 am and headed out some 30 - 40 miles, we planned to fish wrecks which we did it was a difficult day. We then went drifting for sharks. There's a bit of banter left in for your enjoyment, there's a few different camera angles too the camera angle later in the video is perfect. I hope you enjoy this video as much as we did m...

How to easily remove a birds nest from a reel
When fishing with multiplier is there a certain amount of time in free spool you like the reel to spin for say like 10seconds so you caan set the mags to get max distance but stop the dreaded birdy or do you just have them on max braking and loosen off when its in the air.
I have them on full for a few casts then take them off a click at a time on each cast normally end up with 4 clicks off. With bait fishing I rarely take mags of mid cast I only do that when field casting
Just curious why u bothered flo coating under the floor. The glass was waterproof without it. And u will never see it. I didn't bother when i did mine. Just used expanding foam between the stringers. Cut and sand flat then three layers double bias as floor. Tuff as and will never rot. Cant sink this thing when u fill it like a bathtub
Because the bare glass isn't water proof from the research I have done. Plus it was laminating resin so needs to be sealed off. And it's just extra protection
Liked and sub'ed a tough day's fishing is better than a good day at work mate 👍 😂
@@Ade24621 thanks ade I really appreciate the sub. Your spot on I would rather blank than sit in the lorry all day 😂. I hope you enjoy other videos on the channel thanks Dave
can you tel the product code for the bilge pump that you used in the video thanks
There should be a link in the discription Paul. Thanks Dave
Unlucky Dave mate. Still enjoyed the watch. All the best from G.Y
Thanks Carl
Watching this VID from Down under - Still deciding if I go Marine Plywood - Traditional overhaul for stringers or Foam Filled aspects as you done- the Yanks swear by it strength. Love to know your answer
Thanks for watching Peter I would love to visit your county one day and do some fishing. The foam core stringers will never rot. The foam is not the strength it's the fibreglass, the foam is just a mold to put the glass around. I would go with 3 - 6 layers of 600 chop depending on boat size. I used 450 chop and roven I did 6+ layers. If you use marine ply the ply is the strength so you can use less fibreglass but one day it will rot out meaning it needs to be done again. Foam stringers only get done once. Hope this helps let me know if you have anymore questions. Thanks Dave
Hi Dave. Thanks for taking us with you on your fishing trip mate. Really enjoyed this video. Bass never show when you need them to we all know that.
Thanks John and it's no problem, I appreciate you coming along. I did tell them I'm filming and to eat the lure but they didn't listen as usual 😂 It's a shame but this is how it goes everything can be perfect like in this video but if there's no feeding fish you ain't catching that's why it stays exciting you just never really know when that lure will get slammed.
@ correct Dave. Best of luck with your next trip mate.
@johnrimmer5955 thank you John
Don't you have to cook paprika??

Thanks casters, it is a shame but we can't win them all unfortunately
@@C3BFA So true brother
Great video mate! Have you heard any reports from Penbryn? I tried a couple of weeks ago and completely blanked, but normally it's a good venue this time if year. Just wondering if it's worth another visit.
Thanks Tommy, I havent heard any reports from penbryn. Definitely worth going again and again. It won't be too long and you will have a chance of spurdogs off there
Good video mate very informative 👍👍👏
Thanks gstone I really appreciate it
How refreshing to see lure fishing presented for what it really is. Putting the effort in, content in the learning process, environment it takes place in, and the delayed gratification of those red letter days when the fish are on it. I must try and do more of this type of fishing - not that far away from me but all too often I end up on the south coast.
Thanks fish wish. Lure fishing can be absolutely amazing but then it can be dead as you know I don't know why either not on this day anyway it made no sense. But it was an amazing place to be in the morning, nice and quiet just sea rocks and wildlife it's hard to beat
@ I love it. When I started making vids for UA-cam, that changed as I’d get frustrated that no fish meant no vid. Got over it about three years ago when I accepted that I’ll never make an income from it so back to just enjoying being out and being grateful for the small things. What I like about this vid. Working with young people and trying to inspire them only goes so far as they get on UA-cam and quickly develop unrealistic expectations and an unhealthy obsession for tackle that they believe will help them reach them.
Good effort mate , nice drone footage too 👍👍🤠
Thanks ch I really appreciate it
Cracking video Dave love all the angles of the drone very professional looking. Shame about the fish that was have been perfect. Some great tips too
Thanks Lee. It is a shame if it was alive with fish would of been my best bass video lol
Nice well put together video. I didn't recognise you without a dust mask 🙂. Good to get out on the shore regardless of the fish count.
I know it's very odd without a mask lol. It was nice to get out
You can put a 400hp mercury on that transom. Love it❤ Like my Phantom 21 is also strong as H. The wood i used is tricoya mdf. 3 layers of 18 with layers in between. Tnx for sharing. Gr from the Netherlands🙋♂️
@@michielderuyter6011 At the time I had no idea I was going seriously over kill since then I have learnt I could potentially put a 400hp on it like you say lol. @@BlackRussian31 Thank you I really appreciate your comment. As you can see in this video it don't always go to plan. Everything was perfect this day but it didn't happen unfortunately but still shows a beautiful place it's nice to clear the mind in the outdoors. And tried to add a few tips in there too. Can't wait for winter to go so I can get back out there from the shore and the boat again.

@C3BFA bloody hell m8. Hope you doing ok now
@mumtazzafar5696 yes all fine. It rusted inside the handle and snapped while cutting bait. It was a nice sharp knife but really didn't last long and I do look after my kit and keep it clean. Use sakuma knifes now and there amazing and cheap. Blue and black handle built in sharpener too
Very good video thanks for sharing this video
That's no problem Jerry. Glad you found it helpful. Thanks for your comment I appreciate it
I ll do the casting vids with no sign of where the lead is. You need to fix a ball onto the weight so the viewer. Can see the route of the lead. Otherwise it is all a waste of time.
I did In my earlier videos but the lead destroys the balls and it gets expensive
Very good work! For sure what IS inside a stringer does not mater, even if IS air inside! The core inside IS just for the shape, shape IS just the force and strence. Many many boat with more than 20 years have the playwood wet, and nothing happen! Nice video!
Your absolutely spot on Jorge. Quite a few look and think this foam is weak which is fair enough but like you say the core is just the mould.
Where can I buy those molds??
I got mine on ebay Claudia it's the dca moulds
