Cops violate their policy, failure to ID and failure to wear a mask. Moreover, law enforcement has no business escorting someone who has been told to stay off my property, on to my property. FAILED INTIMIDATION. Mom is lying to police, and made false claims on court documents. This is a civil matter, law enforcement has no business being here or being involved.
Mom is trying to create a fictitious narrative for court. While ghosting calls from her daughter, and failing to respond to messages, she decides to call police, to intimidate and validate her deception as a reality.
She will likely face felony charges when Im through defending myself and my decisions. My Daughters safety is my priority above all.

I think it's important to keep in mind that it has nothing to do with gender as far as this stuff. Yeah, we see it happen a lot more to men in videos and what not, but these terrible problems these people are facing aren't because it's a woman causing them. It's because there's a manipulative, bitter, sad person causing them.
Men get treated differently as parents than women. If the mother had the kids and the father tried this harrassment the cops and social services would side with her. That's the sad state of parenting in North America for men. I was victim to this too.

Police departments fought for years to avoid having body cams, many still do. Now they act like the cams were their idea the whole time..... Obviously cams help protect innocent people, unfortunately many departments refuse to release cams till they are forced, they like to wait till interest in the case goes away, but oddly release them right away if it benefits them. The solution to this is to have your own hidden body cam. If that's not possible or you are unprepared, switch on voice recording on your phone, then switch off the screen and hold the phone in your hand down by your side or in your usual position. Be sure to set it so that the recording does not switch off if a call, message or notification comes in. Some govt officers will warn that you are not supposed to record the meeting or exchange; just ignore the warning. If they catch you out, say you are recording only for personal use and that you have the right to do so.

I'm not a big fan of police officers but this cop did everything right. You do have to ID yourself. That's his job to ask who you are. If you live in the community where you want to get rid of the police officers I hope you get everything you want in your community. Robbery and murder rate goes up is no one for you to complain or ask for help. The world is not a perfect place but treating police officers like shit who just doing their job is not the way to go.

I had to fight the judge for sole custody of my son years ago as my ex wife was not contesting it. The judge however made me fight tooth and nail for it. He even wanted me to pay her child support even though I had sole custody. The cards are definitely stacked against the man. It's sad to see almost 3 decades later nothing has changed.

I’m in Canada. I’ve watched men get raked over the coals here, it’s disgusting. ( edit- UA-cam took out whole sentence! This next sentence is about my ex-husband, he went through hell) Everyone was against him. Child protection services would act on what his ex said without investigation. One time, she said he hadn’t paid her child support and she was afraid of him, so they immediately froze his back account. He had to take time off work to go to their office and show the receipts of his payments before they unfroze his account. False documents in court, with no recourse unless you wants to spend thousands on lawyers just for that. This is systemic racism and bigotry crime that never gets talked about! Apparently there are more missing and murdered men in Canada, than woman but the media goes on and on about missing and murdered indigenous woman...when men are at most risk! It’s something we all need to start talking about. IT BREAKS MY HEART THE WAY MEN ARE TREATED. Look up “Boys for Sale”, documentary. I believe men are abused because with strong men, you have a strong society that powerful people can’t control!

To be honest, nobody who knows her, including her own sibling, can answer that. She definitely needs help. Shes not a bad person, just deeply troubled, and in need of mental health treatment. Hopefully she can get her shit together. Every kid needs their mom. Unfortunately, her mom is not healthy, not fit for parenting right now, nor in the right frame of mind to keep our daughter safe. It breaks my heart having to do this, but I have no choice. She leaves me no choice. My daughter is suffering from memory suppression, trauma, abuse, and neglect. Her mother has encouraged, told her to lie, and deceive not just me, but her family members outside the mothers home. Straight up, clear cut, child abuse. All to protect an abusive third party, whos hurt my daughter. Brought law enforcement in to her home, and ultimately got DCF involved. Thats just the beginning.

One weekend, my cousin had his kids and there was a knock at the door. It was a cop and his ex....the cop said she wanted to "say goodnight" to her kids. My cousin said "no, she can't come in"...he invited the cop in to see if the kids were OK, but she had to stay outside and off his property. The cop declined and turned to my cousins ex and told her she would have to leave. This is the same woman who wouldn't have the kids at her house when it was my cousin's weekend. He was supposed to pick them up at 8 a.m. but she would take them out to breakfast and then shopping and then to a movie. She would get them back to her house at noon or after that. My cousin took her back to court and the judge told the ex either she had the kids ready at the appointed time, or he would give physical custody to my cousin and she would pay him child support....and that, ended that.....

The fact that a police officer has to deal with a civil dispute is a waste of taxpayer money. They should have trained and qualified family counselors handling this. When people say defund the police, I hope they mean to reallocate funding from law enforcement to civil resources.

If he gets a call then he has to respond? Also if he is a sheriff deputy then he deals with civil issues as his day job.

In order to do that, he would have to verify that the person from whom he was getting the kid was, in fact, the father. One way to do that would be to obtain ID from the man who claimed to be the child's father.

Went thru the same crap years ago. Son's Mother was an alcoholic/drug addict. Habitually convicted drunk driver, but seldom served more than 10 days, before she'd be doing it again.
Couldn't hold a job, lived with whichever man took her home from the bar. Every few weeks she was living somewhere else. On the days she was sober, she was using the police, family court, CPS and various attorneys to make her 7 year old son's life a living hell. This went on for 9 years, before she eventually left town. He's in his third year of college now and we haven't heard from her for 5 years. You can win, but you have to fight. Good luck.
