Ezra is top 6!? Freakin’ killing it! He was so unhappy with his game for a bit there, I thought he was having a rough season.
My highest in a tournament was also an 8. And some butthole on my card tried to argue with me saying I got a 9. JUST LET ME TAKE MY 8 IN PEACE MY GUY!!

It sucks so bad.... we had like awful flooding in the late 20teens.. and now after the Preserve is a thing we have bad droughts 3 years in a row 😢 last year was a bit better I suppose... but MN isn't supposed to be dry and crispy!!
@@h0nkyJhate to break it to you, but there is not and never has been a "typical" year. If having ten or twenty years of a regular pattern occurs, that's an anomaly. That's why Rain Dances existed in every culture outside the Pacific Northwest in North America lol

The preserve is easily a top 5 course on tour for me, always feel like I can’t miss a second of the tourney each hole is great

Hope you all still plan to come back to Des Moines in the future. We’ve had horrible luck but we (possibly more than any other stop on tour) absolutely love to have disc golf come to town. Glad to see you playing well last weekend!

At my home course we have a 380ft tunnel shot that is like 2 meters wide and the first trees are a mando and tight ob on the left and right so if you kick either way you are ob. Took a solid 11 on a league night because of that awful hole

I played a winter event and encountered a basket on a mound of dirt probably 6 ft above grade with around a 45 degree slope on all sides of the basket…. Which was ice covered. Took an 11. Laying up was nearly impossible, so it was a 40ft plus putt to an elevated basket.
Mine is also an 8 on a par 3, about a 200 feet island hole. Missed the island, played as hazard. Gone for the putt on the elevated basket, missed and off the island, hit the basket for comeback putt and then tap in
ive taken an 11 on a par three. double island hole with very tight OB and lots of trees. hole 3 at Hunt's Hideaway in Michigan
My worst hole was at GBO this year at emporia CC. Hole 9 ob early went to DZ. Ob long from DZ. Ob deep left of basket, jump putt then two putt.
Totally taken a few 10s on the same par 3 at a local course. Long story short elevated baskets are tough 10/12 foot elevated baskets are brutal.

My highest in a tournament was 11. 80 km/h gusts of wind. Re -teed 3 times and then had a putt literally blow out of the elevated basket from 1 meter. Shot +16 that round. Tears were shed.
Cale needs to add some sprinklers out there, Minnesota has plenty of lakes to keep that grass green.
i've taken a 12, first time playing a 18 hole course, middle of the winter here in Sweden, putting up to a basket on a steep rock-face covered in ice and the disc kept sliding down to the bottom :D
Grand Central Station, hole 10 Locomotive. 390 downhill with a right curve. Hit a tree directly off the tee and kicked right. Pitch out directly into a tree. Pitch out again into the woods on the other side. Pitch out from that side into the woods on the other side again. Proceed to nail another tree right out of my hand. You get the point... Took a 9.
A buddy and I played a disc golf tournament in South Dakota where you have to make the island hole off the tee or proceed to the DZ. He missed island, went DZ and missed island from the DZ 7 times... He two putted and took a 17 💀
This part of Minnesota is in an intense drought situation currently.
Nowadays, it's more about the commentary for me than level of performance. I can shoot even or under on any of these courses. So, love the back and forth.

I hit a 12 on a par 4, where the quickest way to the basket was over OB. I had to retee at the same lie a couple of times there!
Took a 12, and it happened to be on hole 12 of the course. Very windy day. Multiple OB throws, multiple throws to get back up from a wooded hillside, then a couple angry missed putts. Freaking 12.😤
I took an 11 on the final hole of our first club tag round. I was trailing the leader by 1. 360 ft par 3 with OB all along the left and trees on the right, low ceiling. Went OB re-tee, OB re-tee, OB re-tee, Throwing 7 landed inbounds, upshot, 3 putt. I was not a happy camper.
Got an 11 on a par 3 at new world. I think it was hole 10 or 11, slightly raised basket. Got into my head and kept missing from 10 feet. Taught me to just breath at every putt. At that point i think was a +3 total, and i just did not enjoy the last few holes after that. Take me time now putting.

My first tournament in FA3, I took a 9. The pin was on a hill and I kept trying to layup and the disc kept rolling away, down the hill about 50 feet. Third time is a charm for the layup haha
Got a 12 on a par 3 once, basket was on top of a rock hill kinda thing, rolled like 7 times in a row so yeaah
Midwestern horse fly and deer fly tip: those flies generally attack the highest point of their victim, so if you hold your hands straight up over your head they will often just land right in your hand and you can squish them very easily.

I took an 11 on hole 18 of the Lynx (I think?) course at the Preserve. I was -3 going into the hole, missed the first mando and re-teed. Second shot missed the second mando, re-teed again and missed again.
I've definitely gotten an 8 or more. When I first started I was just happy if my disc went lower than 100ft and further than 50 lol
My highest tournament number on a par 3 is a 9. First time playing long tees on a short island hole and I could not figure out the disc selection for the shot. Missed the island three times because you just had to re-tee on a miss. Then missed a 20 footer once I finally made the island. Tapped in a 5 footer for 9.
Mine is a 7. 220 triple mando hole, basically a gimme. Missed the mando twice, then the putted 😢
I have unfortunately taken an 11 on a par 3. Throwing ob left 4 times after reteeing so many times, leaving my approach short and missing a 20 footer. Blew my round and getting lunch.
Took a 14 triple tree penalty on old hole 13 at whistlers bend dgc in roseburg Oregon during tournament play while my brother waited to tee at the bottom of the hill laughing at me the entire time. Most brutal hole ever for me
I did get a 9 on a par 4... At hanson park. Not far from the preserve. It has the historic cone baskets. You might like filming content there. Its a loved course in the community.

I took a 9 on a 3 right after I started playing over the pandemic. hit first available and kicked deep into the woods, took 3 shots to get out of the woods, two shots down the fairway to the basket and three putted (missed two right at about 20 feet). I was so mad I chucked my lone putter into the pond next to the hole and putted with a DX Shark the rest of the round 😂
I took a 12 on a par 3 in a tournament. Missed the gap for a water (pond) carry and went out of bounds. From edge of OB I still had to throw over the pond. I didn't stop throwing until I made it over the water. There was a bailout route around the water but those are for sissies. 😂

11 at Hocking College in Nelsonville Ohio. It is an island hole that if you miss left you are down a massive hill and have to throw up towards the basket. I was new to DG and it just kept coming back down the hill ever time I threw it. I have witnesses.
13 on a par 3 I went in the water 2 times right off the tee. Then landed far right (got wind wrecked). Pitched back and rolled into the water. Pitched up. And 4 putted I believe. In my first tournament ever on the second hole.
I might start watching these on 50% speed all the time, these two are pretty funny when they sound like they just walked out of a bar totally wasted.
6:51 i feel like hyzer flips thrown into mandos are better they flaten out for straight shots through woods nicely just aim more left and it wont hit that left tree instead will hit middle of gap..
Cliff Stephens - Clearwater FL - home of the Champ - hole 16. Par 3. I have seen an 11 and a 12.
I just got a nine on hole 5 golds at maple hill this past Sunday.
I recently took a 9 on a par 3. The tee box itself was ob and there was a gap to hit in order to make it to the fairway. If you never cross inbounds you have to re-tee. I missed the gap and went ob 3 times in a row.
At least I wasn’t the worst score on my card, as someone else scored a 12.
One player hit the gap perfectly and got a birdie and the last player (my son) chose to lay up to a safe zone before the gap and happily took a 4 on that hole.
I took a 9 on a 240 par 3 with no OBs or mandos. It simply was 40 mph winds so it took multiple shots to just get into the bullseye before 4 putting. From inside bullseye guys.
I got a 9 om A par 3 when i was in Junior Swedish master.
I took a 13 on a par 3 hole. Threw four straight OB forehands, then took five shots to finish because I was so frustrated.
I took a 15 on hole 9 at eureka during ledgestone. That was tough.
