- In this type of scam where the sender requests to help in facilitating the transfer of a substantial sum of money, generally in the form of an email. In return, the sender offers a commission, usually in the range of several million dollars. The scammers then request that money be sent to pay for some of the costs associated with the transfer. If money is sent to the scammers, they will either disappear immediately or try to get more money with claims of continued problems with the transfer.
In such matters the victims normally allege that they have received emails from unknown sources wherein they have been informed that:
• Either they have won a lottery worth millions of dollars; or
• Their help is required for transferring of illegal money from some foreign Country; or
• Goods are offered at throwaway prices; or
• In some cases, the victim's address book in her emailing list is compromised and emails sent to all contacts from ID asking for money to bail her out from a perilous situation;
The victims are trapped in a phased manner and are generally made to deposit a huge amount of money either as money transfer fee, payment of taxes or transportation cost.
The victims apparently receives a spam email and respond to the same and end up paying money to some unknown persons for a nonexistent purpose.
Such crimes are generally carried out from foreign locations. Money is either deposited in offshore accounts or in some carrier account in India.
Preventive Measures/Precautions
1. Have you received an SMS or email saying that you have won a prize in a lottery? It's a scam. Do not respond.
2. Never respond to fake lottery winning related calls/SMS/Emails
3. Have you received an SMS or email about transferring of money into your account? It's a scam. Do not respond
4. Have proper spam filters in your email account
5. Follow the thumb rule : Never transfer funds to unknown persons or entities in anticipation of high returns. This is never going to happen

उन्होंने मुझे एक लिंक भेजा और website पर जाने को कहा उसके बाद वहां पर एक साइन करने को कहा और बोला की sign करने के बाद आगे का काम बताया जाएगा । मैंने sign किया और उसके बाद उन्होंने कॉल करके कहा की आपका work activate हो गया है काम शुरू कीजिए ।
मैंने login करके देखा तो मुझे काम अच्छा नहीं लगा क्योंकि उसमे कभी उत्तर प्रदेश का डाटा आ रहा था तो कभी विदेशी। इसलिए मैने काम करने से मना कर दिया तो वे 6000 + gst मांगने लगे। Sir help me

I have been researching on frauds.specially 2000 saal se jo fraud ho raha hai from all over India... woh chota fraud nahi hai...3000 crore se bhi zyada bada scam hai woh...bohut log pakde gaye but still bohut cities mei chalt hai woh scam
I saved myself of many such scams through such knowledge.

The way u teach is great but there is some worst officers in your department in up. They don't know the right way to talk they always use bad language of that person who filled the complain. This is very disappointing.
10 days ago a what's app massage claimed to give me 25 lac frm KBC so I filled the complain against the number and then the officer of the police station called me and started talking vulgar language just I were culprit 😒. So I have to withdrawal my complain just because your department have no intension to help the citizens in the right way. They start behaving like that you were a culprit not like victim so how we believe your system where victim is treated like culprit.
As there is no financial loss of my own in that case but I complained just because I don't want to anyone stuck in their tactics and loss their money.
But now I understood I should not do any complain of anyone because this police department treated you like the culprit.

I have done online same like your video, but nothing works. I don't think so this works at all, it's transferred to my nearest police only which didn't done anything. I thought complaint will be sent to some other police who sincerely work on crime complaints but it's sent to normal police.
