We are dependent on the internet for our everyday activities. Convenience brings fraudsters too as scammers use the internet to commit financial frauds. It is important for you to know how to protect yourself against such frauds.
Key pointers to keep in mind
Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services Limited (MMFSL) does not collect cash as part of the processing fees/login fees and neither does the company encourage this mode of transaction.
MMFSL never asks the customer to transfer money to a personal account.
Be careful while opening links or attachments from unknown third parties.
Do not handover your personal documents like Photo ID, address proof or personal information to any unknown person or share them on suspicious sites.

I am a senior citizen and purchased one fridge from reliance digital in February 2019 finance by HDFC loan as it was tagged with reliance. Bank took 3 signed checks and written permission for deduction of EMIs in 6 instalment from my SBI account. After 5 months HDFC started calling me and I thought may be transaction problem there, I agreed to pay all the dues. A person came to me and on enquiry told that the bank receipt would be generated in the bank and this receipt would be given to me through WhatsApp. He did this and a HDFC bank receipt sent to my WhatsApp. I was happy that it’s over. But after 4/5months again they started calling me. Then I asked and they refused such identity. So I hope general public may be made aware of such frauds.

The accused in an on-going case may also have co.mitted a similar case ,misappropriating money belonging to my deceased husband.But the investigating officer does not reveal the facts of this case.This case is apparently pending in the Patialc HouseCourts.It ix case of 2015 ,therefore not available on-line or I could have traced it.PLEASE HELP..
