I'm glad that I tried to make a version of this deck for myself before I saw your video, as I commented on yesterday's video. It really helps for me to see what I did wrong and how I can improve, as well as the reasoning behind it. I think telling us the concept of an upcoming deck might actually be a really fun thing for you to continue to do.

what if it healed for the amount of units on your side of the board, for a max 6 heal to everyone if possible, keeping the toss 3 of course.
Yah, I think Maokai would be better if something else was his signature spell. Maybe sapling toss, that card is ok I guess, better than Sap magic I would say
Watch as soraka gets added and sap magic becomes the strongest card in the game. I think sap magic won’t see any change because they are already testing concepts for the new cards.
I sold my house so I can build this deck, it didn't help be climb, unsubscribe and disliked 😢

I want to thank you mogwai for your videos your existence. These video have become a part of my day and it feel like hanging out with a friend everytime.
Just wanted to add something that I have tried personally and won some matches because of that. You can add 1 or 2 cards of Ledros to the deck. What this does is that whenever you play the card, the opponent's health is halved, and because of snapvine, it gets killed and RETURNED TO HAND. With this you can play the card every round, reduce the opponent's health in half each round AND get a snapvine as a bonus.
This deck is definitely fun. I been playing it non stop since the upload. Thanks for putting in the work to making these set of cards viable and keeping the game fresh :)

Yes! this is awesome, this is why i play card games, not for the meta decks or the highest win % decks, but for epic moments and truly ridiculous interactions! Thanks so much for this deck! I still haven't gotten bored of bad trip but i'll definitely be making this one next!

I built almost the same deck a few days ago, but with 3x Haunted Relic => one 2 cost spell means 3x 3/3 unit with Yipp (they are 1 cost) OR 3x Snapvine in the lategame ... and of course 3 life nexus transfer. I really recommend! I love your videos
I appreciate that you went out of your way to point out this isn't really a good deck for ranked. Much as I find it cute to go against weird decks with 6 champs, poro decks, and other gimmicky decks on ladder, I can't help but feel bad for people who end up surrendering when shit goes north.

Your videos are perfect timing for me as I get home from work about time you upload. And I'm a big fan of decks like this that overwhelm the opponent with lots of units on board so imma try it out. Great deck!

For someone who hates tossing cards when playing with Maokai, this is totally legit fun.
"Ocean Mudda(Mother)" is a God in Runterra mythos. Her name is Nagakaboros and she is worshipped by Bilgewater and most sailors and pirates. Trivia: Gangplank's first love was a priestess of Nagakaboros named Illioa. She's one of my favorite champions so I hope that add her.

4th match was overkill. Let's say the opponent survived on the later part damage of the Neverglade collector, Maokai was still activated which puts the opponent on a timer to still lose.

i love the interaction of snapvine with the undying. every round a new snapvine gets summond by it and when all snapvines are dead you have a damn thicc undying on the board

Oh I played against this deck earlier today. Then I hit him with Swain + Might, as mogwai suggested to me after I lost our match, and made him really sad. Turns out leveled Swain and 3 hp snapvines dont synergize very well.
Yo Mogwai, what's your thoughts on adding maybe a 2 of "The Undying"? Cause every turn, he gets killed and goes back, meaning you get a free snapvine every turn HAHA
then if ever his snapvine gets killed, the buffed up undying remains on the board

I played one time against a snapvine deck and was confufesed by the synergy with the undying. The undying turns into a snapvine but revives itself and if all snapvine are destroyed (including the the undying snapvine) the undying with stronger stats came up on bord
Can you make a video about how you build decks? Like a documentation of it. Starting with the idea of using a card, building, playtesting, adjusting etc. Would be really interesting, also from a game design perspective.

I was making a deck like this at the beginnin of the expansion, but I got too hung up on spells like the 2 crabs for 2 or the 3 spiders for 5 spells. Thanks for the push in the right direction!

u would be dead most of the time when using it, because its slow af
"Iceborn Legacy". It grants +2/+2 to a chosen follower and his copies. Every other card with 'elsewhere' is limited to a specific card (Legion Marauder, Mistwraith), Poros or 1 cost followers. But it costs 5 mana and is a slow spell. Yes, it would make the snapvines to 6/5 but that boost is not paying off as you may think, because the snap vines are pressuring with their numbers, not theirs strength. There aren't many ways to remove several 3 Health units anyway. Instead of Iceborn Legacy other cards would generate much more value like Grasp of the Undying or Neverglade Collector.
I think swimstrim once made a video about why Iceborn Legacy is much stronger on units with 1 Health as on already bulky units with 5 Health like Yetis.
@@alcian91 Yea, Iceborne Legacy is definitely a card you focus on lower health units that you can reliably obtain in bulk to beef them up. So Spiders would be one of the best synergies for it, as you can produce anywhere somewhere around 20-25 spiderlings in a single game realistically. Saplings would be another "solid" choice, although the ephemeral tag sort of screws that up quite heavily, as their health doesn't matter that much when you know for a fact they die at round end regardless, so long as you get them above 1 hp.
Rhasa also works really well with snapvines, because it activates his ability before it gets killed, i have a Endure deck that runs snapvine and its so good as an alternative win condition
overgrown snapvine is such an interesting card, its just need a little bit touch of love from riot, i wish they reduce the cost & increase on stats
6 mana is the best they can do, changing stats might be way too strong I think
It would be one of the 2 in any case, else it'd be a way too overpowered card, but i could see it costing 1 less and the stats switched.

i m diamond 1 now with one month gameplay only and i nvr ever spend any money on this game. i just watch youtube pro players like mogwai , swim and silverstone and copy deck and what card i miss, i get from expedition or every Tuesday reward. patience is the key to win and have fun. my deck reached max import now. soon after some champion i get , easy for me to reach masters. keep growing. play smart Lor users. dont be like timmy . love from india.

@@Daniel1985Uk bro every card is strong if the user knows how to use it and when to. MY FAV for rank so far is Ash-Shejwani combo, Teemo only burn combo, deep with thrash and kalista combo and my first fav deck was Fiora Shen and garen combo(save her for 4 kills and garen rally can help)

The tip I give people that are trying to climb: Play it like its a normal, if you try to have fun and dont care about rank you will most likely climb faster without realizing than getting stressed out from losing a few.

Jury Rig is the most broken 1st turn drop. With burst, you can cast it and attack with it turn 1 before the opponent can respond.

since you're running pnz have you thought about going transmogrify and turn their entire deck into snapevines. it honestly sounds so toxic and like a crazy disruption tool. I feel like you'll always win the match up if you do it with collector on the field

I would go with Maokai, Elise, and Kalista with snap vines. Go into Freljord and use that one card that gives +2/+2 to all copies of a certain unit

At 21:30 since the raider had overwhelm wouldnt it have been better to just not block it unless you meant to open space on the board in which case disregard this.
Just a question that is only loosely related to the deck: Why are you using black spear over gotcha? They both do 3 damage, but gotcha can be played whenever and can cost 1 less mana. When is the benefit of not needing to play the card the turn you draw it to be mana efficient worth it and when should gotcha be preferred?

At 24:54 I think he could have just attacked with the 11/13 which would avoid the lethal you had on board I think, while still threatening lethal.
Honestly this felt more like a von Yipp Deck than a Snapvine Deck. But Snapvine definitely put in the work. Also how about renaming it to Yipps Mogvine.
