Hi! I hope you enjoyed this video! I had fun making the cards. You can easily mass produce these cards if you avoid the time-consuming die cutting of flowers like I did. But I love how these stand on their own with that pop out feature. Let me know if you plan on making one of these cards. If you do, could I trouble you to tag me in social media so I can see your creation? Thanks! ♥️
I love this idea. I think it could still work with a side fold card design. I absolutely love the prototype & the last card. The acetate made the colors really POP! They are stunning!
Thanks so much and totally agree they’d work with a side folding design. I just wanted to try something very unique and it’s fun when an idea in your head comes to fruition well. Thank you for watching! 🥰
Sorry, Annabella! I just created a little rectangle, folded 1/2” on 3 sides. Folded the scored lines and the used a circle punch to create the center to pull the card out and then secured to the back. I hope this helps. Thank you for watching! ♥️
So pretty!! I haven't seen anything like this before. It's so fun to have something new to try! Thanks. :D My favorite one was the orange one, that one to me is a wow card.
You are so welcome! I love the one with the orange flowers best, too. I am naturally drawn to bold color combinations in general. I hope you give this a try! 🥰
Your tutorial was so well done. Your explanation and clear photography made it easy for even a vision impaired person to follow along. I have a questin regarding your glue -- is that indeed Elmers glue? and what is the dispenser you have on the bottle? Glue is the bane of my crafting existence. Thanks so much for such a fascinating technique. Mu DIL has just been diagnosed with cancer and I am committed to making multiple cards as she lives 8 hours away and I can no longer drive. Many, many thanks. And for the glue info.
I’m so sorry to hear about your DIL. I’ll say a prayer for her. 🙏🏻 The glue I’m using is Elmer’s Glue-All, not the regular glue they sell. This is a stronger formula and it’s very affordable. The green cap I am using fits the lager bottle. Here’s the link (affiliate) for them if you’re interested: amzn.to/3QVBe4f I will keep you in my prayers. ♥️🙏🏻
The pink floral dies are from Spellbinders. Here’s my affiliate link for the product from the Spellbinders store and it’s on sale, too! amzn.to/4bU32OQ
Very dramatic cards! Love them especially the far right pink one. So fun to invent and try something new and challenging to put your own spin on. Thanks for explaining it all so well.
wonderful thank you. Can I suggest you just nip/round those sharp corners off the acetate tho? They can really hurt, esp the older or younger generation! :)
I was waiting for that one video that caught my eye, and this was it. I have never seen anything like it anywhere else. I'm absolutely going to try this. I'm in love with the last two cards 😍 thank you so much for sharing.
Definitely worth trying! I actually like the orange & green one best, even though they’re not usually my colours. The pink second. I would probably ink blend those white flowers though. The holo taco looks pretty, but something about the white is missing something to my eyes 🤔 Maybe it just needs some sparkly centres? They’re just blending into the card a bit much 🤷♀️ Great card design though - thank you 😊
You’re so welcome! The die set you’re asking about is from Spellbinders called ‘Typing Class.” Unfortunately, I can’t no longer find it. It was the February large die of the month. You may find it from a reseller, though. It’s pretty cute. I hope you can find it. 🥰
Hi, I have really enjoyed your video and will make this type of card immediately. Your beautiful examples are inspiring me to create birthday card with a gift card holder on the back. Thanks for sharing!
@@jnelson8732 aw, Thank you! I started a brand new job recently and it has me consumed with learning new things but I’ll be updating and posting a new video this weekend. ♥️
Hi! I didn’t link it in the video because it’s the Large Die of the Month called ‘Typing Class,’ and it’s no longer available. I just used the floral dies and leaves on that card example. You might have some luck finding it on eBay. I hope this helps! 🥰
These are great Kathy’s. I do like the last one the best. I don’t quite understand though the purpose of cutting out the circle in the acetate. Is that essential? Yes and do please leave your errors in the video so helpful and keeping it real😊
Sorry I didn’t communicate that part very well in the video. My thinking is that securing the acetate between two pieces of card stock would help the acetate bond more securely. I’m sure you could attach the acetate directly to the pop up mechanism, too. Over time, I just think the adhesive would just dry out and the acetate would eventually fall off. I hope that makes sense. Sorry for rambling! 🤣
I actually love it for card making. It has a stronger formula than just their standard school glue. I just got discouraged when I run out of glue and then see a 4 ounce bottle of popular craft glues being sold for $15…I was just in search of an affordable option. I’ll definitely buy it again. 🥰
Fabulous faux glass pop-up cards Kathya 🥰 I love the die-sets, your card designs and your tutorial. They are all unique ❤️ thanks for sharing your creativity Hugs xx

First time viewer. Great card design. ❤
Thanks and welcome! 🤗
Why has no one created glittery acetate yet? That piece looked sooooo pretty!
Agreed! That would be awesome. Thanks for watching! ♥️
Lovely. Love it. I would have liked to see how the last one was done with the pocket

It’s from Spellbinders. Here is my affiliate link to the die set: shrsl.com/4jqv2
Please May I ask where you got the pink flowers from, are they from the same die set?

Apologies. I just added the glue caps in the description area. Let me know if you have any questions. 🥰

Your cards are lovely. I especially love the last one with the floating frame.
wonderful thank you. Can I suggest you just nip/round those sharp corners off the acetate tho? They can really hurt, esp the older or younger generation! :)
I did on the one card, but you’re right! Good catch! I’ll definitely round those corners, too! 🥰
I will definitely try this! What a great idea. Love them all, but my fave is the one that is "glass" front and back ---- so awesome!
Excellent-I’m glad you’ll give it a try. It’s super fun to see in person, too! 🥰
These are wonderful. I don't think I've seen this done before.
Thanks so much! I hope you give it a try! ♥️
They are all lovely. I am going to try one thank you for sharing.
Have fun! They certainly are easy to make but quite beautiful, too. 🥰

hello Kathya! May know the name of the orange flower you used (from Spellbinders)?
Hi! I didn’t link it in the video because it’s the Large Die of the Month called ‘Typing Class,’ and it’s no longer available. I just used the floral dies and leaves on that card example. You might have some luck finding it on eBay. I hope this helps! 🥰
My fave is the last one with the floating tags and the pocket on the back. Crafty hugs from Germany 🇩🇪

Very intriguing design. I am surprised you use the Elmer's Glue All. Does it really work that well on paper for cardmaking?
