  • The Destin Bridge on the Emerald Coast of Florida's Panhandle is an unknown diver's paradise. With a massive year-round resident school of redfish , along with black drum, Goliath grouper, sharks, spade fish, and more, this is one of the most diverse species of marine life in one setting on the Gulf Coast. Just remember, with strong tidal currents and heavy boat traffic it is very dangerous, so conditions have to be right, and you need to know what you're doing. Shane O shows us what's at the bottom of this 50 foot drop

Thank you for the view of the bridge underwater. It's like diving, without the trip to Florida, and scuba gear!

@@Slightlyaboveaverage21 good luck. Tough to get bait to that spot unless you have a boat. They’re all over slot as well so none are keepers

Was one of my favorite spots to fish when I lived there by the coast guard station. Last time I was there was going to try wasn’t able too seeing that the military fenced the whole area off due to tourist I heard just leaving trash etc😡. Use to catch plenty of reds, trout, even a permit one time😢

Awesome dude. I've always wondered what it looks like down there. I'd like to see under Brooks Bridge, but that may be to dark.

Awesome video! Out of curiosity if something happens to the line how do you get your camera back?

Thankfully, I haven’t lost one yet, but they are positively buoyant themselves. So if it’s tied directly to the line, it should come to the service, however, the tripod set up would sit on the bottom until I dove out to get it.
