Shoe height: My ex told me that her Poediatrist told her to by heels that correspond to the lenght of her feet divided by 3. She is size US 9; 25.5 cm long. So her comfortable heels are 8.5 cm or lower. All her party shoes are Jimmy Choo and Blahnik 8.5 cm!
I live in heels everyday due to work and I went through my phase of 100 and 120mm high stilettos with constant foot pain till I decided to go down to 85mm instead. What a night and day difference. The Gianvito Rossi plexi shoe warping is caused by using the same shoe last as the 100mm when wrapping the material around before the sole is applied. That means they didn't use a different last for a 85mm heel, and the pitch on the 100mm is different. I guess they don't sell enough of the 85mm to run the shoe on a separate production line and all they did was screw a different heel height on the same shoe.
Ah! Thanks for the insight! You sound like a heel expert ☺️. Sad that they didn’t adjust for the 85mm heel height :(. And haha agreed, 85mm is much more sustainable than 100mm, although the older I get the lower my heels go 😂
@@janeshappyplace3687 Let's just say I spent close to 20 years in the fashion business before I went into finance and I spent some time in different shoe plants. You are so right, the older I get, the less patience I have for extremely painful high stiletto's.
@@LinhHueTran they’re probably the most comfortable louboutins I’ve personally tried on since they’re wider than most of their other heels! Mine is in 85mm :).
Your video is very informational!! I use foot petals in many pairs of heels and they are a life saver. When I wear tights with heels, they often fall off because it’s “too smooth”, do you have any hacks for that? It bothers me because it also prevents me from getting blisters
Thank you Elaine!! 😃❤️ Haha foot petals are the best! Do the the heels fall off when you wear the tights? It could be that the shoes are a bit big if it’s sliding off at the heels. Try some “ heel liners”that you stick on at the back of the heels and see if that helps! :)

I have some 120’s but really I can’t wear them daily. For daily wear I like the 100’s - that’s the sweet spot for me.
