      Stepping down would be the honorable thing to do. At this point, she must be aware that this story won't go away, that her conduct puts pressure on her whole office and that her office might never recover if she keeps her position. It will not end well for her, her whole career is now tainted and her colleagues will want to leave before being labelled as corrupt too. Shame on her for prolonging the inevitable.

    Her actions weren’t “stupid,” they were *criminal*. I’m sure she and others in her office have prosecuted motorists for fleeing, eluding, and obstructing over way less than what she pulled.

      He did not have the true backing of his superiors. The best they said is “I won’t take the ticketing of her from you” (not a direct quote) Not a single one (lt, sarge or chief) told him “I got your back” in any type of words.

      on the original body cam I looked up the GPS coordinates off the video and found exactly where her house was. the cop kept saying "I was following you from Phillips rd" well no matter where she was at on Phillips road her house was a significant distance from that street and through a subdivision so the fact she says she didn't know he was pulling HER over is a load of crap. it's amazing the cop didn't do a felony stop and pull his weapon on her when she PULLED INTO HER GARAGE btw people that doesn't absolve yourself of no longer being on a traffic stop! I'm sure most rational people know that but it seems there are fewer and fewer of them in this crazy world we live in

      Ethics can't be taught at this late date. Ethics are taught from a child thru their formative years then thru early adulthood. She is essentially now what she will always be unless she has a significant emotional event that will cause her to completely reexamine her life.

    She needs to be dragged out of her office, kicking and screaming if necessary, charged for all her crimes, jailed and then given a court date like a normal citizen. She can plead innocent as she has a right to, then have a real prosecutor present any and all evidence, her attorney representing her, and then the judge or jury deciding her guilt. If found guilty, and it sure looks that way, be sentenced like an ordinaty citizen. Did I miss something in civics class? Do they even teach that in school any more? But, her being the officeholder she is thinks the rules don't apply to her. Am I missing somethingbhere?

      It's too late for a breathalyzer test , but not too late for an arrest. The Police need to go to her house and say "surprise, you are under arrest for fleeing and eluding police and for resisting a traffic stop on April 22, 2024" Then take her to jail and book her. Let her spend a night in jail and have first appearance the next morning so she can bond out. That's the way the rest of us are treated under the same circumstances.

    I still think the main issue is not being addressed. It is not just her using her position, but the very fact that she was treated the way she was treated. With that said, both her, and all the cops involved on that day, are to be investigated. We all know, any of us would have been riddled with holes the moment we didn't pull over.

    A New Jersey port authority member tried to bully cops( whipping out a badge and demanding details)that pulled over her daughter( all in the car where of age)and her friends for traffic violations and it cost her her seat on the board.

    No matter how many times I have watched this video I am still SHOCKED, Officer the public stands with YOU as an honorable example of the LAW being enforced. IF this woman remains in position along with her supervisor, then this should be brought to a HIGHER level of inspection to ensure due punishment which without a doubt would be a FIRING immediately.

    hes right if it was just an avg citizen doing this , they would do a felony stop in your driveway guns drawn then you be cuffed searched car searched then you be arrested for fleeing,,,you see it everyday...this stop makes you not trust her office and next time someone doesnt pull over in rochester they are going to tell the cops they want the same treatment as her so you have to restore some order in this town

    For those who didn't see, THE DA's severe punishment! Her fine was $183, wow, bet she had to get loan, that taught her to respect the law? So 2 hrs. pay from her taxpayer funded paycheck, to "take responsibility" of her actions? Fine did not cover cost to the taxpayer for 5 officers WASTING THEIR TIME to manage an out of control(pasted?) "IMMATURE ADULT"? They missed out on the drug and alcholic test which would have given her a DUI!

    bruh, she was WAY to comfortable acting that way in the bodycam towards that officer. This isnt her first time putting herself above the law. She was to confident. Also, since when is ethics training ever been appropriate discipline for corruption??? This is all hogwash
